Warning - Heratage Tolken Items -bugged

I went to one of my castles on Origin to do a bit more deco'ing only to find many of the rugs have parts missing. These are the cinammon fancy and blue rugs from the tolkens.
I tried to axe one to see if that would redeed it so I could relay them down. They need to be axed as if 1 piece at a time and then you dont get any deed..... they poof in other words. Good thing I only did the one to see. But now i have rugs with pieces missing and they are acting like the ones you buy raising and lowering each square very odd and weird!

There have been a lot of threads about items missing and multi-tile items breaking from them.

I have gypsy spawns around the house but I can see the parts under the house. along with a few missing goza mats as well. ITs quite odd that the carpets that are missing pieces are acting like the bought ones where you can raise pieces of it. I can see them off the house but no matter how hard I try to get the pieces to show so I can use tool you cant get to them. Just got gm's canned response... the usual garbage about not being able to replace ..yada yada..... Its only on the north side of the castle bottom floor.
1 cinamon fance and 4 blue fancy tolken rugs... I didnt place them on goza but are fraimed by them. and parts of the goza's are gone too.

I went to all my other castles to see if their rugs are effected... nope all are fine

Hmm, I do know that if you place them ontop of the goza mats and lower a mat, It breaks the multi tile addon and it cannot ever be redeeded.. Not sure if this is maybe the case here?

The rugs were placed first. Then fraimed by goza mats never were they on any goza and were placed months ago... i been kinda busy to not finish the deco'ing. I did not see how a tent or gypsy spawn could be effecting the center carpets... as the spawns are on the east and west only not north and its odd that the other rugs cant be raised or lowered.

Also if it helps they were gotten fresh from tolkens not redeeds.

I went to all my other homes and many of them have spawns as well and all rugs are fine and many are on first floor same areas.

I had that in all my houses with gypsy/orc/brigand spawns. I never used gaza mats. I tried lots of different things that were bugged that way and all get destroyed. Non give the deed back. Your only chance would be to have a gm replace the items. If its worth the waiting is up to you.

The deeds which i replaced after the emergency bugfix a couple weeks ago are all fine now. I havn't lost a single item/deed-part since that fix.

I have the same problem in my vendor house. The rugs were not placed on goza mats. There are brigands that spawn around the house although I am not quite sure how that affects the rugs.

Then the gypsy tent spawn it sometimes spawn right on part of your house. If you happen to be watching when it spawn an image of a tent will come up for about a split second and then disappears. It will sometimes delete items placed in the house. I have goza mats covering my entire keep and on 2 of the wings I have goza mats missing now. So my guess is couple tiles in your rug got hit by this bug and deleted. I tried to home make a 1 tile soulforge with this bug but apperently soul forge doesn't fit in any of the wings unless the roof. See if I get lucky and the tents hits the soul forge hehehe.

Tolken is a misspell of a famous writer's name, best known for Lord of the Rings.

I urge everyone to use a spellcheck feature on their computers... it is a lovely, lovely thing.

heritage token. not heratage tolken. I wouldn't pick at this save the fact you keep spelling it wrong on other posts, so I know it wasn't just a one time mistake.

I think what you are seeing is a result of using the rugs bought in Ter-Mer. It does not happen with the small rugs available from the heritage tokens. You have to double click each piece to lock them down. If you are doing some action that requires double clicking something and you miss your object and double click the rug piece it will decay and go away if you don't double click it again. I got tired of having to run to the rug seller all the time I recycled all the pieces.

One should not correct another's misuse unless they know all the facts:

Tolken -The lake Tolken is the source of the Swedish river Viskan. It is located west of Ulricehamn.

I was moving out of a house that I was letting fall down and was using a coowner to remove items locked down since the owner account wasn't up.

Only the coowner who locked down the item can release it, so I had her release all the rugs in the house, they were the pieces rugs from the ter mur quest.

When I got to the final rug, she couldn't release the pieces, the pieces wouldn't even highlight yellow to show they were movable.

It took me a couple minutes to realize it was not a Ter Mur rug but a blue fancy rug from a heritage token, so I axed it and it came up.

Other than it not highlighting yellow it looked exactly like the Ter Mur Rugs I had on the other floors.

If it highlights yellow when moused over, Ter Mur Quest rug, double click to unlock piece by piece.

If no yellow highlights when moused over, Heritage token rug, axe it.

And there is nothing wrong with enlightening others if they clearly have issues with spelling or grammar. If you hate it so much, you might as well put me on ignore right now. Not that I care one way or the other how you personally feel about it.

The same thing happened to me that happened to the OP. Rugs were not on gozas, not Ter Mur rugs. one piece was missing. so i axed it. Had to axe it one piece by one piece. Only thing of note is that it overlapped a blue rug. Now I fear to axe that one at all.

This is exactly what my rugs look like! I can see the parts under the house foundation.
GM will not show his nose up to even look. They were from token - fresh meaning I used a token to get the deed to place the rug. They are NOT TerMur purchased... I have many of them too but this use is not one of them. I stayed at the castle all day and the only spawn was as I stated the first time to the castle west and east only. No northern spawn that I saw to cause the whole top to go buggy. I do not like being blown off by a GM for a real problem he could fix.
