Ravens got put down pitifully this week.... JETS!

Steelers beat the Jets +10 , you only get lucky so many times playing us. You think the Jets are going to win twice in Pittsburgh and in a championship game... lol

I really like the Ravens but they lost , and I like the Jets too, but because " a few someone's " in my house are cheeseheads, I am saying "GOOOOO PACKERS"!!!!

Hands down the Steelers are a better team, better players, better defense, better offense, Troy, James, Ben, Farrior, just better players - Isn't like half of the pro bowl offense line Steelers? C'mon the best player on the Jets is a Steeler at heart lol...
It's a going to be a good game but in the end the Steelers will go to the Superbowl AGAIN and remind you that they are the best to ever play in the NFL

We, husband and I have already decided to save the nearly 4 decades old marriage of ours tis best if we watch that particular football game, in separate rooms on 2 tv sets. . far away from one an other.

*sigh* Twas a pitiful sight here yesterday. Hubby was so upset he went to take a shower right before 3rd quarter. When he returned to his man cave in the den, I told him SEE it is not over till the fat lady sings, your Bears got on the scoreboard.. finally while you were in the shower all depressed.BEAR DOWN!!! Send the packers packin!!!!
He come out of the shower like he was some 'identity crisis' of two cities he lived in, wearing Packer joggin pants and a Bear's tshirt. Poor guy !
He said 'whenever I wear these Packer joggin pants the packers lost sooo'...
Well, with that final interception, my husband stated,
"don't know where she is, but the fat lady is singin somewhere."
He then handed me the cell phone and the cordless land line said...
"I am in mourning, if any one calls YOU answer the phones ! "
I gave him a hug said, Bears are long over due ...they may do it NEXT year yet too soon to tell for *next year*

Meanwhile the kids all born in GreenBay, had called up with sympathy calls for their dad.
I grew up in NE Ohio, so growing up my teams choices closest to me were um Clev. Browns or Steelers. I grew up like 20 mins from the PA border and well them poor Browns, never do seem to luck out. When I was like 6 my dad took me to my first Indians baseball game, and I was the lil first grader shouting GO NY YANKEES ! lol
Well they had *Mickey Mantle after all*
And always preferred the Steelers over Ohio's NFL offerings.
But having lived in the Great Lakes states for many yrs. esp. Green Bay....
Super Bowl shall be GREEN AND GOLD for me.
The Super Bowl 'Lombardy' *cough* trophy should go to...GREEN BAY afterall.Hopefully though regardless whom wins that Sunday, it will be a good game not one of them boring ones of no team scoring much and fumbling all over the place making no headway like they got stage fright just being there & all.
Some years the best entertainment in Superbowl is the commercials and halftime show, when both teams seem to suck or something suddenly.
So let us hope BOTH teams [do their best] for a lively game come superbowl Sunday, instead of a snoozer of a game !

Well, I'm just happy they showed some actual signs of life in end. If only Rodgers hadn't tripped up Urlacher on that reception... Or if Hanie hadn't thrown two key interceptions.

Well hopefully they will keep that newbie kid playin with em next year.
I mean afterall wasn't this his first time in a very important playoff game ? and he did the Bears pretty good out there for a newblet QB.
They should try to use him more next year get him more seasoned up used to playin more in important games and I bet he will do em proud.

I mean I would not feel too horrid if the Steelers won, but for myself a once nearly ignored QB always compared to #4, like he was garbage, by them NFL announcers, always tryin to prove his own worth in the big shadow of a #4 QB that USED to be a Packer, deserves his day in the NFL sunshine if for no other reason than to make them NFL announcers eat cake or eat their words or eat dirt !
Some times the oldies, need to get out of the way & RETIRE, to make room for the NEWBIES to get their day in the sunshine & NFL halls o' fame !
*also why I am hoping the Bears organisation sees the potential in that newblet QB they put out at the very end there, mistakes or nervousness aside, he put LIFE into them Bears team, that kinda did nothing till lil #12 got out there.
