It would be nice if it was possible to complete the upgrade... keep getting an error message when I try to go to the subscription update page.

Probably allot of people trying to upgrade, just give it some time and the traffic should lighten up.

UOGuide is also showing SA upgrades and new accounts are on sale. Man, this stuff is so cheap it's even making me a bit nervous.

Or, perhaps on a happy note, theyre getting ready to announce the next booster?(been nearly six months since they announced in August of last year)

I was using Firefox and it kept doing that. I switched to Netscape and had no problem. Someone else switched to IE and had no problem as well. Perhaps Firefox hates the UO account page?

I wish my emails were not all borked up to the degree I can not even trust to GET the codes if I had to rely upon whatever my ...multi mergered emails have become thanks to certain...carriers merging messin up all my email accts. I would buy 2 of em today and a couple more SA.s, if I could.

Have had 2 given to me since shortly after launch, from a friend, whom had functioning email accts that havent merged into who is my email carrier now mess that I have.

I need 2 more.

Heck I don't even GET emails from EA anymore, since that messed up mergering of my email providers. :(

And if I get some NEW email acct. , then EA will say..you are not YOU !

*sigh*

When you purchase them, the confirmation screen has the code on it, so you don't HAVE to rely on waiting on an e-mail.

I don't think this is working. I started this at 30 mins. to deadline..hrmm.

I did get *order completed* but nothin in my email and when I click continue ...it just gives me same page over and over again...with my info and (order completed) but not even telling me what my order IS /WAS.

Just wanted to say thank you for the notification. I had put off getting the High Seas expansion since I no longer had a fisher, but at this price I decided to give it a shot.

Gareth atm I have a migrane and am in tears and about ready to close down 4 accts. that been open since 98 with them.

I can not get the code sent in my email to WORK at all. I can not get it to work anywhere ie not acct. management upgrade nor the promo code place on the paper doll where we could put a code either.

And I got charged the full amt. even though I began the process at 5:15pm central...still had time but even at $14.+ by the time it was completed I was charged the full price. But I would not mind even that full price at all IF the code worked for me but it has not.

This has become a nightmare for me. And nearly any time in the past it was a nightmare nearly but least the codes worked for me those few times..but this go round I am being told my acct. info is wrong ...then I am told it is right..when on Acct. management..so I put in code...get blocked out told nothing is workin etc.

My head is killing me..was fine till all this mess. ATM I am feeling if I can not UPGRADE and codes not work for me when I try to upgrade with code they sent me, what is the point to keep my 4 accts. going at all when they so un upgraded and when I try like today...........it just fails miserably but hey they got my money and I have no successful upgrade just a code that isnt working for me.

:( I give up ! Shouldn't be this difficult to impossible to just GO FISHIN as a High Seas upgraded one. . which I still am NOT !

I am out the money *full price even* and code they sent in my email won't work and all I dared try to do was to try to get my one unupgraded fisherman that is the one closer to GM fisher to be on the same level playin field upgraded like my newer accts. that are just 5 yrs old.

And as many times as I tried to paste code then type code on every which way imaginable it won't work and mark my words I will probably yet get a statement *code is used* cuz I tried to USE it to get it to work yet it didnt.
Paged a GM was told...sorry can't help you. :(

And I can't walk the dogs, my head hurts too much.. I haven't had a rl migrane in 4 yrs. :(

When I upgraded another account a few weeks back, I accidentally put in the number near the top of the email, the "Order Number" when the real number is lower down, next to "Digital Rights"

Perhaps the server is being slow or overloaded right now, I'm sure it will get sorted out, they've been good about taking care of this stuff in the past.

I tried it about 5x and it would say "this page cannot be displayed" so I did it on the browser of my phone and it worked. Droids are awesome!

But...... Now Im trying to log in for the first time and it is stuck at the entering britannia screen now. Fantastic.

Aye I did the *digital rights* number even wrote it down on my tablet on the rl paper *in case my email even goes kaflooy or gets stolen or whatever other disaster yet happens preventing me from the upgrade I bought and can't get to use yet *. :(

thank you, ya made me laugh in my tears and migrane. Course I think I rather be stuck entering britannia UPGRADED than to bother to log in at all atm...Ima gonna go lie down take some tylenol or something. :( But ya did manage to make me laugh reading stuck entering britannia. thx

I did not even bother to log on at all yesterday Friday. I spent yesterday in what I call *avoidance therapy* ie stay away from internet period to calm down and hibernate on my sofa AVOIDING online anythings.

I posted on Siege Forum that I may be old, may be far less tech savy than some of ya younger folks, but I succeeded to go thru the hoops and all the obstacles and so forth online at social security dot gov. [this week] online on their websight applying for my social security.

And while it took the entire length of time online dot gov said it would take...due to pages and pages of identifying ourselves, IT WORKED for me.

The irony when ya think about it that pages and pages reading *under penalty of purgery under the law of US fed. govt...every other paragraph warning us we better be whom we say we are...page after page of steps to follow and file and fill out and IT WORKED. . EA no workie for me. You would think EA online gaming sight would work *even for us old foggies* far easier than jumpin thru the hoops of dot gov *under penalty of law* websight.

My check is *in the mail* from dot gov...my code from EA to upgrade to High Seas booster, well I may not even TRY to get it to work till maybe one day at some ungodly hour of the night next week. And if it still fails, I will assume I am out the $ 14 bucks. :(

USA gov ss. dot worked ! And they put us thru HELL, *under penalty of purgery* to ID us and to get it to work, yet it still all WORKED for me, unlike EA ! :(

Go figure ! :(

0700 this morning central using IE8 even on my older computer, pokier connection, the EA High Seas booster code I purchased last thurs. had WORKED for me and my oldest fisherman Stockbridge here born in 97 UO, made a giant koi pie and hugged the magical fish pie he finally just made and he is UPGRADED, just like my *newbie* fisherman of only 5 yrs of age. :mf_prop:

At this point I don't even care that they charged me the full price during the sale...just glad the code [finally] SUCCEEDED to work for me at all, YAY !

I am now the *dancing queen* gone fishin on my Stockbridge. lol:thumbup:

Ye are very fortunate it all worked for me TODAY sir.

Ye would not wish me to come find ya and beat you up when I am all down and depressed in tears, just for *listening to you in the first place* to go try to get this reluctant chicken, to try via their websight ever, to try to fetch meself, any upgrade codes ! :) So be glad it finally worked Sire Gareth or ye would be ......beaten up or something by me, with me tinker tools ! :eyes: I READ ye posts and ye got me all excited with the mention of a sale to TRY one last time to upgrade one acct. anyhow...and then it all failed to work as usual...TILL TODAY finally when the code they sent me worked.

I still have one more acct. I would *like* upgraded to HS and 3 to upgrade to SA but... I doubt that is gonna happen.
I was prob. perma chicken to TRY anymore upgrades for past few yrs. now, with them, even before this attempt.
Just glad this time finally.. price purchased code, regardless of price, *full* had worked for me ! YAY
