Sampire Suit Question

So I want to work in my new assassin suit so that I can use an ornate axe, and i know it has been done with reflect armor, but none of the posts i found were recent. Now that magic reflect also lowers your max physical resist to 60, is it still worth it?

in other words, would 60/70/70/70/70 be good enough if your swinging an ornate at 1.25?

What are you using for a gorget and what are you using on your jewelry?

they are open slots, but i could get whatever i need

like
ring: 15 hci, 15 dci, 25 di, 5 ssi, open mods here
brac: 15hci, 15dci, 25 di, open mods here

and the gorg i would like to have the needed resistances, and 8 stamina increase
(going to try to get non imbued gorget)

and im going to have 30 ssi on the ornate axe

last I checked the cap is 65 for physical w magic reflect now, I personally haven't noticed much difference between that and 70...but I also don't go for the heavy hitters often.

180 stam + 30 SSI on axe + (turquoise ring or ranger cloak) = no crappy assassin armor

Imho going with tinker legs + daimyo's + either turq ring or cloak or possibly tinker legs + 1 assassin pice + ring + cloak could give you a much better suit these days. Both variants will give you the +25 ssi you need and would leave some slots to imbue something else. Could be really sick in combination with woodland armor.

I agree with this for getting the Ornate to cap.

I don't really see the point of using Magic Reflect on a sampire, the pool will be out quickly, you can Evade anyway, you heal every swing and you're handicapping your resists.

Did anyone ever find a good use for ornate/crushing blow...

I never found a good instance where AI or a LS Crit or a double strike wasn't better or just as good. But I'm not as much as a gearhead as some of you addicts

PVP wise after a corpse skin my 50 fire/poison ornate did more dmg than AI, though it prevents me from chugging.. sooo... don't use it much honestly. It sure sounded cool reading about having this giant axe. Though reality was somewhat different.

magic reflect is nice to even out a suit that has high physical resist, this happens often on my sampire suits, M&S glasses (25) go a long way to overbalancing physical...at least in my experience

Thanks for all the tips, and i was going for more SSI just so my stamina isnt as big of a deal.
Also main objective is to have as few imbued items as possible. I would love to have a suit of no imbues but that would cost waay to much lol

as for the 180 stam + 35 SSI, if i take almost any damage wouldnt my swing speed be lowered to 1.5s ?

still trying to figure everything out

and im not going to use magic reflect for the pool, could care less about it. I just need it to balance the suit easier since my physical is too high already haha

If you have it dead on 180 yes. I find it easier to have 190 Stamina and 35 SSI than it is to have 150 Stamina and 55 SSI.

Well the suit ive been running for a while and love is,

8 Stam Daimyo
Tinker legs
Rangers cloak
Turqoiuse ring
and 30 SSI on weap.
Glads collar
Tangle
Slither
Conjurers garb
Spell focusing sash (just cos i dont really need the MR or Int of sash)

Imbued arms gloves and gorg (Woodland enhanced pieces)

Works out all 70's 45 DCI/HCI 182Stam (after pot) and some other mods, cant remember exactly. They where the key things i looked for.

Took a bit of time to aquire the right pieces but once i did its lovely
