Bug with Pirate ships

Anyone else having a problem causing damage to pirate ships today? I've ran into minor bugs in the past where I could not cause damage to the pirate ship if it was stuck. But today I've tried to take down 4 and can't seem to do any damage. I've done many, so I know i'm doing everything right.

if the pirates wont uses cannon against you, means that you are bugged.
The bug make your ship invulnerable so the npcs won't attack you.

To fix this try to cancel the quest, dry dock the ship, place the ship on water and wait until is slightly worn. If don't work, leave the boat there and wait the server restart.

Yes this is an old bug from the release of High Seas on the "To Do List". Hopefully they get a fix in soon for it because it wastes A LOT of ammo that takes a lot of time to make.

you don't lose ammo if you wait to see if the pirate place cannons

however also the bug that makes you receive 1 bugged coin as reward is bad, and the rewards are totally to fix, the orc ship should be much rarer than an heavy cannonball

Ive had pirates place cannons and shoot at me for an hour strait and not damage me. Now I simply sail up to one, watch my damage and the second im "slightly" damaged i know to attack. Its a PITA for sure.


Made hunting white tubs very undesirable. Hopefully it gets fixed before they add any other special loots to pirates and merchants.

EDIT: BTW Pinco, YOUR MOD IS SWEEEEEET, i kick myself in the behind everyday for not getting it sooner lol. You are a true master of the art.

so I tried exactly what you said yesterday, and I was bugged. Did it again today and i'm still bugged. Not making this very enjoyable.

be sure to have no pole when you leave the boat for wait the server restart...

yes there is some kinda bug with the cannons but its not that hard, i sail up to them and kill everything i need to first, then as soon as u shoot ur cannon their's appear along with all the chest's on deck, so come up and kill everything first, then jump back on the wheel and it should pop up their cannons or by shooting ur cannons it does. it almost seems like a "war mode" type thing
