Does anyone know what the relationship is between active and passive mana regen rate against say a total of 10 mr on the character sheet? I am wondering if I can remove meditation by increasing mr.

You can remove it by adding mr, but it is subject to dimiishing returns. For example 120 med 125 int 0 focus and 0mr your Regen rate would be roughly 1.533 mana/sec. And with 0 med 125 int 0 focus and 10 mr it would be, 1.12.

So you lose roughly .413 mana/sec going from 120 med with 0mr to 0 med and 10mr for mr to be equal to 120 med you need have 24mr bringing your regen rate to 1.528.
