archery useless in pvp? NEW guild?

hi

i saw on a site that archery is only good in pve
and not pvp
is this threu?
i am creating one now
he has:

archery
anatomy
lumberjacking ? wil be dropped later when i can buy arrows
tacs
healing
bowcraft fletching (worth while?) same as lumberjacking
hiding ?
resist spells (a must have i think?)
bushido?
chivalry?

yeah thats alot of skills
if anyone has an idea for a better combo
please let me know
and does the website newborn siege still exist ?
i registered but got only one mail back

when i started my guy got my ass kicked like 5 times lol

so now i try to get back up with begging lol
but i will crawl back up

Absolutely not useless in PVP. I am not sure on a template, but several people have been very successful archers. I believe usually stealth/hiding and chivalry. Don't quote me on that though.

Archery wtfpwns in PvP. There is no easier PvP template. Magery requires precise timing and at least a dozen macros; melee requires quick reflexes and expensive suits. Archery requires double-clicking a target and occasionally executing one of two special attacks.

Its more effective on prodo, just cause you can carry a few different bows, and have a decked out suit. But still viable here.

The Nox Ranger is very nice with Myst Enchant.

Main things to remember:

Special Moves require 70 and 90 points in both weapon skill and tactics. 70 points in each for Primary special, 90 for Secondary. Anything over 90 points is just for added damage.

Magery is required to get around by magical means ( Gate Travel spell only ), as Sacred Journey doesn't work on Siege.

Don't put Necromancy and Chivalry on templates together, as their potentcy is directly affected by your karma, one would always be hindered by the other.

Ninjitsu is nice for animal forms and the ability to throw ninja stars, but other than that, you're losing alot of ability without stealth or melee weapon skill.

Yes, but those are melee templates, and the necromancy isn't being used for direct damage spells, so the potentcy of Vampire form is irrelevant.

The small amount of karma lost for changing vampire or casting curse weapon is easily gained back with a few monster kills.

Reputation FAQ: Practical Application of Karma

I always thought it made sense that you had to choose to role play a good or evil charatcer, but negative karma only affects one necro spell, apparently.

Yeah, 40 med is nice, but that is only an option for 720 cap, otherwise the points are wasted just to equal JoaT ( assuming Human ).

I'd say you may get several, but not all pvpers here are as ****ty as you claim.

I havent been playing as much here of late so i would more than likly get curb stomped if you use the nb/es lammer spam, but if you want id gladly toss you a 1vs1 on siege, Great Lakes or Atl. Preferably the second as i ping best there...

go do a peerless go get real arties not the faction arties

go do a spawn get scrolls

stay outta luna and play the game theres a whole game to play and all you do is log in run luna and say nobody on and log

And Siege has no pvp...maybe if you actually tried a different shard you would see what pvp is, you might like it.

Last thing Sprago, you had a post about a new guild and I repled that when you have 4 or 5 people on jump in vent and we will come fight...over 3 weeks and nada, that tells me you never even had 4 people on ready to fight, that my friend is a dead shard...period!

i do have and have had 4-5 poeple on but im not only into pvp i enjoy playing the rest of the game too sorry that meet your criteria
