Spell Focusing Sash on a Warrior

If I wear the Spell Focusing Sash on my ABC archer - does the Spell Focus do anything? Does it influence my chivalry or bushido spells in any way? Or am I just getting +1 Mana and the 5% DCI?

Does it affect hit spells on weapons? That's okay I guess for fighting PVM bosses, but would suck for PVP.

The only thing I can think of besides this which it would affect is Holy Light, but that may not even be for sure, since Holy Light is unaffected by the SDI property.

If you're talking about PVP I'd just wear a Corgul's. For PVM you should be okay since hit spells aren't really that big a deal anyway.

The idea was, not to have to get 14 Corgul sashes because, dear god, is Corgul is boring!

But if it effects Hit Spell, then it is indeed useless for pvp.

It affects hit spell. And it makes ur lighting hit for 7 instead of 9...
Its been tested.
So if you want to fully take advantage of ur hit spell on ur dexer in PvP dont use it.

Ah, dang! So it's of no use for my mages as well as my dexxers.... Guess the only one who's gonna wear it is my peace tamer. She got no eval anyway.

It'd be good for PVM characters, but yeah I don't see it being good in PVP.. Unless you are doing small fights and using a lot of spells or something against one person, then maybe.

The developer who added it is under some kind of delusion that you'll sit there magic arrowing a guy over and over and over until you build up enough "focus" for a damage bonus and then burn him. I thought that was pretty hysterical.

For PVM it's all right as long as you only put it on when you're burning a boss, and never need to switch targets or whirlwind or anything.

I think the Sashes are good, and have practical uses.

I think Logrus did a good job on the item (assuming it was his brain child).

I also think he does an excellent job communicating the formulas and mechanics to the player base.

Its not good for group PvP, but for 1 v 1 it certainly offers an advantage. ANd yes, people do Magic arrow, harm, lightning a lot early on in a fight to get debuff spells off.

It isn't perfect for every situation, but it definitely has valid applications in PvP and PvM.
