What exactly does Focus on a weapon do?

When you use one of those crystals you get off the bane chosen on a weapon, it adds a focus property. What exactly does this property do?

Besides making it brittle (means you can use pof on it, which doesn't affect imbued weapons), it modifies the DI. The bonus to DI is not limited to the DI cap. First 5 hits has negative DI, but the net DI bonus is over 200%.

According to others, it also fully repairs the weapon when used.



Edit: typo in first sentence, I mean "can't use pof on it." Also net DI bonus is 90%. Gross DI is the one that's over 200%.

I take it you mean the gem but just want to make sure...
