I'm missing my trash barrel...

When I try to place a trash barrel in my Castle I get the message "You already have a trash barrel!", but I don't already have one.

I paged a GM and waited an hour to get a canned "submit a bug report" message.

Anyone ever have that happen? Able to fix it themselves?

I have never had that happen before, but as an alternative you can place a Sacrificial Altar and use it just the same as a trash barrel.

In game there are a few items that take the place of a trash barrel.
As one pointed out ...Do you have a bone sacraficial alter? this is a trash barrel.

Or as someone pointed out you might have one hidden and not know it.

If you customize your house (don't have to make any changes), your trash barrel will go away. Might have to reset items that go into the moving crate though.

Use Ctrl + Shift to bring up the tags for everything in your Castle. Then eliminate them one at a time. If it is there, there will be a tag for it.

If there's too many items in the area, you won't get all the tags, so even after right clicking those you don't want, those you want won't necessarily appear.

Could be, He is a secret hoarder in need of intervention.

I think we all need to go by and help carry off all that stuff He has secretly been hiding for years.
I mean come-on it's not like we haven't all been there.

Appreciate the inputs so far.

I've used shft+ctrl and it's not in the castle. I've also checked the moving crate but it's greyed out on the menu.

I'll see about getting one of those alters so I can have a trash can for the time being. It's just frustrating that the GM's don't even bother to try any more. One hour wait for the canned "send an email to bugs" response.

Sure have. I used the shft+ctrl and eliminated everything by right clicking it, and still no trash barrel.

Well, I waited all day for a GM. I was #9 for about 6 hours.

And then when I browsed over to order a pizza for dinner... a GM messaged me saying "I see you can not remove your trash barrel", "Are you there?" and the canned... "We tried to contact you, but you were unavailable. Please repage."

Seriously? I wait 6 hours and the GM shows up, and because I miss him/her I have to wait another 6 hours?? And this GM even stated the problem!! I'm standing in the Castle I OWN, would it be too much trouble to delete my trash barrel??

GM says my silly house thought I still had a trash barrel. GM ran all over the place looking, but couldn't find one. Did some GM stuff and I was able to place one.

least it got fixed. I lock mine down. they 'say' when it's full,it emptys immediately that way
