When Did They Throw In Pet Rezzers?

Just curious. I recall a long time ago wondering/asking why, when no tamers were around, that folks with dead horses or ossies were sorta screwed when it came time for a rezz. I also understand the other side of the coin - be a tamer and rezz your own dead pets.

I do like this feature though but am wondering if 166gp, which I think is charged, is too little. The couple times that my forest ossie has died I would have gladly paid like 1k or so for a quick rezz. Whatever....my thoughts on a cold, windy, and snowy night.

I do not think it has been that long ago.

Probably somewhere in the past year or 6 mos. of their myriads of patches that they put that in ... just guessing. I keep forgetting that they are even THERE yet. When I go someplace a bit more fatal I am still stabling my blue beetles to keep em alive ! Rather ME die than them, I can always get a res .. so even I keep forgetting we even HAVE those npcs. Nothing sadder than a ghostie pet !

Horses are cheap to rez because you can buy them for like 500 gp on many shards. Rezzing significant pets can run into the tens of thousands at the stable. Once my swampy died and they wanted over 11000 gp to rez it.

I think it might have been Skara but am fuzzy about this as I remember gating here and there. It might have been Serps Hold. Not every place I stopped at including Moonglow seemed to offer this.

If what Ziggy describes is in place and is the deal then it's seems kinda fair. If one of my wwyrms or dragons died and my tamer didn't have vet I'd fork out 10k+ or whatever just cause I had them for a long time. I'd probably pay 5k or so just to rezz my favorite imp - Greenie.
