The Sour Milk acts as a container. Unfortunately, it can't be opened, so if you have the misfortune of dropping an item on your new sour milk deco, it's like sucked into the milk.

Please fix this as I accidentally dropped several expensive items into mine!

If you need to get an item out from inside the sour milk, put it on a packie first then try to open the container. it will open.

Help! I have dropped an item into my sour milk pitcher, as my fingers are too large to retrieve it, I am requesting the assistance of a skilled GM to restore the two items to their proper positions

Hmm you could try the packy idea, open the milk and target the stuck item.(eg.use animal lore on it)
Then place in your pack and toggle insurance, and hit last target(make a macro).
Make sure the milk is uninsured.
Then kill yourself! Hopefully the item inside will res with you and the milk will stay on corpse.

it can't be stolen from a packy, I imagine it can't be insured either.

From what I recall about stealing from a packie you need to be in FEL.... works fine there

But I would try using the insurance and kill yourself... typically most things "inside" something that are insured will go to your main pack when you die.

Not really. It's pretty easy to do when you're not realizing something in your own bag is eating your items.
