Dear Santa, can I have a Treasure Maps' Bulk Container for Christmas ?

It would be a wonderfull Christmas gift for Ultima Online, a new craftable container book that works like a Bulk Order Deeds Book : A Book that can hold, say up to 500 Treasure Maps and only count for 1 item.....

A new craftable that requires, perhaps, GM Scribing as well as GM Cartographer and perhaps something else (Alchemy ? Cooking ?) and some cool new resources.

Bottom line is, I'd love to get this as a new gift for the Christmas Holidays, much needed, especially with the tons of level 1 Map coming from fishing.....

While i support something like a "map satchel" or something of the sorts, if they were to ever implement one it needs to work the same as a BOD book as far as item counts go. 500 maps with one storage is far fetched but using the BOD book ratios would be ALOT more manageable for us to use.

No time, currently, still stuck into fishing, fishing and some more fishing and doing fishing order to get a damn 110 fishing powerscroll which simply does not spawn, period.

I think I am at like 200 orders done past the Pub 69, with quite a lot of 6 and 5-liners and no 110 at all. Mind you, also just 2 105s so no chance either at getting 8 to bind them into a 110.

I just cannot figure out how can people get 110 fishing PS at GM level with like 10-15 fishing orders and at 200 orders done moreless post Pub 69 I am not seeing PS of any sort.

RNG ? If so, this is the streakiest negative RNG run I have had since I played Ultima Online.

We can talk about luck all much we want but when it is THIS bad, luck has nothing to do with it, I think. What is it though that is getting no fishing powerscrolls come to me I have no clue. All I can do is just keep fishing, and doing orders.

As I said, simply no time to do else in the game.

Why is it so urgent? You'll burn out. Take a break and do something else for a while. There isn't a race to be won.
I fish for a while, then hunt bane for a while, then water plants, then do something else, then maybe got back to fishing a while. The scroll will come when it comes, don't stress it. It's a game.

Well, I want to get the scroll and forget about it, move on.....

Besides, it is like when one is at the Bus stop waiting for the bus. It is coming in the next 5 minutes one think, but the Bus won't come. One waits half hour, than an hour and still thinks I have waited so much now it got to come in the next 5 minutes but it does not. And time adds up, and adds up and the wait becomes outrageous.

The bottom line is, I cannot figure why for me it is so much more difficult to get a fishing powerscroll.

I mean, I can imagine "some" bad luck but of this magnitude ?

I am starting to think that characters can somehow get bugged and get worse luck at drops, consistently until they are fixed their being bugged.

Who knows........

This is actually a great idea....

I think it could work for MIBs as well....even create separate books for SW, SE, NW and NE MIBs

but this could be a great organizational tool

Popps, seriously, if you're going at it this hard, you're obviously not having fun. I don't dedicate all my game play to fishing. Quite frankly, I like fishing anyway. I do the quests, sure, but as soon as I get about 70+ MiB as a back up to the 50-60+ I've got on deck to do. Then I fish up SoS's until they're done. Rinse and repeat.

Of course, there's the ocassional spawn, invasion, darts, BODs, and other features, because quite frankly dedicating that much time to fishing will eventually bore the hell out of me.

In other words, if you are at the point you seem to describe, then quite frankly, you're doing it wrong. Fish because you like to fish. If you're grinding just because you want something, you'll never be satisfied.

I wish for open mib's there was a book i could do like that and as you fish them up they poof from the book..... god that would be great. Tmaps... not sure how it would work but it would make a neat package for all the maps... i'm not complaining mind you but I do have a castle full of just t maps and and other castle with just mibs!! The room and count list would adore you for a book idea!!!

Actually, I have to give it some more testing to be more positive in my findings, but I "think" I finally pinpointed "why" I was not getting a 110 Powerscroll while others were.

How can I say this ? Because, after I thought to introduce some changes, I finally got a 110 Powerscroll to allow me to get going.
I have to test this over a number of times to see whether it was a mere coincidence or I was actually doing something nefastous in allowing me to get fishing powerscrolls and once I noticed it, I ended my negative streak all of a sudden....

We'll see which is which but for now, thanking to the 110 PS I got, I can continue my fishing training which is what matters most to me.

Popps why don't you just play the game and stop trying to 'keep up with the Jones', Like Petra said, things happen when they happen, you cant force them to happen.

Maybe if you stop over analyzing things you will enjoy the game better, and not get so stressed out, and more importantly, maybe people will stop giving you grief.

So, does this mean we won't be seeing a new thread later on about how rediculous it is to get a 115 or a 120 scroll or why things should stack because you have accumulated so much crab while searching for the illusive scrolls?

Anybody want to place side bets on this?
