Bane Chosen invasion...stalled?

I know there are Devs lurking...

So is the Invasion stalled? Two days now without another city being invaded, apparently this is the case on all shards. Going to assume the invasion wasn't intened to have ground to a halt so early...

Comments? Fixes?

I for one am OK with an invasion on alternating days.

Anything less than alternating days, though, feels less like giving us a chance to rest and more like losing momentum. For some kinds of an events I guess that might be alright, but not for what's supposed to be an invasion.

"Weird new monsters randomly spotted in dungeons," that can be an every 3 or 4 days thing, I would suggest. Not an invasion. I, for one, think alternating days should be the minimum for an invasion.

Thus far I find the event pretty pathetic!

What event!? Where is the event?

The best event to date has been the Vanguard invasion.

Not everyone has time to be able to participate in the event with such a limited time window.

I mean this is very short lived.

People waited for days asking what's the deal "Turn on the damn event already!"

Nothing happened for 3-4 days...

Then the event is turned on and it last for what..barely 24 hours?

I'm sorry...I hate to be negative but it's a **** poor event.

Thus far the event or lack of one has been a total joke.

That's all good and great but Mapper my point stands...

The fact that the first invasion is already over is a bit ridiculous. I know myself and a few friends were not able to participate yet we have town crier exclamating "The invaders have been pushed back in Trinsic! We've won in Trinsic!" on Europa.

How many days did we wait prior to the publish before the event was even turned on!?

I'm sorry but the Devs need to learn from history. Is there someone new in there every other event or what!?

The Vanguard invasion which was on timers was a great event! Where is that code!? Surely it's laying around somewhere?

For anyone else who missed it, Cal said "investigating." Which I'm assuming means it's not supposed to be off.

After the inital confusion of why it hadn't started, I 've enjoyed this event, I don't mind that it may be off and on every couple of days.

I'm don't mind that it's on for a few days and off for a few days either. In fact I think that could be a good thing.

However the duration of the event in between intervals needs to be long enough to allow the vast majority of players the opportunity to participate if they so wish.

The weekend is prime time for many people and the event was all but over on Saturday. I believe it was Sunday when the Town Criers were proclamating victory.

I hope the event goes for about 2 months total. It's been hectic at work and with holiday prep, I haven't gotten to participate at all yet. I hope it isn't all done by the time I can get online after the New Year.

Yes, although it is Christmas and a Holiday time some players actually have less time to play the game, rather then more given the more time needed to spend with family and friends....
Not to mention those who go out of town for sometime to visit relatives for the holidays and cannot play UO at all....

Exactly! This is the time of the year where I have practically no time to play. My family would lynch me if I sat down to play UO the only days where I can see them.
