night sight working oddly

Several times in the last few hours, my night sight turned off - I could pull off my headdress & put it back on and it brightens up, but it's happened about 4 times already. on LS
Anyone else?

it's always worked that way for years as far as i know - dunno why you're just noticing it now

Agreed, its been bugged for many years. It started back when they added champion spawns and the surrounding zones for an indication of how long its been.

Yes, it is a bit annoying and even on human chars with no nightsight items I found times when the spell nightsight did not work ...

Yeah, I was a little irratated last night when my elf lost nightsight and when I tried casting the spell on him, it didn't do anything.

Not on land, but since HS from time to time sailing across a server line my elf loses night sight until i log out and back in.

Since High Sea's been out, LOTS of odd things have been happening that never happened before.

If the dev's would just take notes on what long time customers /Vets find for bugs & work on even just some would be nice, then to just ignore them as the "that can't happen" attitude

I suspect that the spell is working, but it's the game graphic engine that is the issue.

as an elf i had this happen time to time. and now as a gargoyle too - to fix as gargoyle i just take night sight item off and on to fix.
I have not paid attention to where this happens to me but it is possible that it 100% happens in champ areas.

I've had problems with elf nite site, since the high seas has come out. Now I have problems after being on the sea and going to dungeons, or now many times during a champ spawn. Had RARELY EVER had a prob with elf nite site until high seas. Now have problems FREQUENTLY. Last time I was at a champ spawn, all the players that were elves, had major problems with nite site during the spawn, they too have the High Seas addition.

J/k...... anyway..... I've heard many of my guildies complain about this from time to time. The only time I have ever noticed it myself on a character was when I had 2 items on with nightsight. After getting rid of the extra nightsight item I never had the issue again. I guess one cancels the other sometimes.
