[Bug] Navigating by map

Since the last patch, if you order your tillerman to sail after a map, the boat does not sail diagonally anymore, but only a rectangular course.

That is because the Church of britannia decreed that sailing diagonally is the devils will and it shall be forbidden!

Wonder if that is what my tillerman was doing?. I plotted a course which started with a pin to the south and my tillerman absolutely refused to go that way and kept trying to sail west OVERLAND.

I logged out and on and that made no difference I had to take over manually to go where I wanted to go.

i think they are sunk as soon as the spawn now adays somebody was saying in chat they had sunk all the ships and was looking for more, not finding them real fast

Since the publish we've had three guildies looking on three different boats in three different location, for hours (5 hours now) and haven't found one. So if anyone has seen a merchant ship since the publish let me know.

Me and a small crew captured 5 merchant ships last evening around Jhelom on the Catskills shard so they are still out there. Before anyone asks no we did not get any white cloth tubs, but we are well stocked in alcohol.

Ok, well at least I know they're there, thanks for the info.

Edit; Sorry hawkeye, didn't mean to hijack your thread, the maps not functioning esp for those using the CC is a real pain.
