You do know melee is capped at 300% damage increase, so double slayers are basically useless with the exception of not needing to use enemy of one. Now that 300% only a 100 of it can be from items. My mage runs about 70 to 80% sdi and a flame strike damage base is a lot higher then any weapon. If I use a slayer I am probably around 150% sdi, as a mage you also have a greater ability to combine different skills in your template. Mine is a necro mage weaver, corp skin and flame strike on many high end bosses I do anywhere from 150 to 250 damage per spell and in wraith form I use very little many. I guarantee I out do many melee templates for damage specially when I can use WOD and that 30% health thing well when something has 10k health that means you can do 3k damage but usually around 1k my WOD hits for 597 with a 6 focus.
So basically just be thank full we have meat shields in melee and pets and always remember to keep your meat shields alive.

Bottom line is anyone with a demon slayer will be able to kill one of the invasion demons, especially in a group.
Aww come on you know you want to put 50 Hit Lightning on a Sword of Shattered Dreams or make a Leaf Blade of Ease with the base stats of:

30 SSI
40 DI
Then drop on 50 Lightning mmmmm.

was just on origin, bane were in Skara. The Meer were across the water, on the road, then ophids just east of that on road. this attack seems kinda like the last one here, exc there's nobody at this one - saw 3 people in an about 1.5 hr. dragons drop about 400-450 gp, riders about 200 less. mostly crap armor

Since we're posting fanfic, I have one too. It's called The Coronation of Queen Dawn.

"Ta da!" Dawn shouted, running into the room with a blanket draped over her shoulders like a cape. "I should be the queen!"
"Who the bloody hell are you supposed to be?" Dupre retorted.
"I'm Dawn! I'm the best and most beloved person in Sosaria!" Dawn replied, running around the room with her arms stuck out like an airplane. "Vroom!"
"I don't remember you at all." Geoffrey interjected.
Dawn stopped running around and making airplane noises. "I was in Lord Blackthorn's Revenge! Todd McFarlane got one of his third-string artists to do a mini-comic about me for in the box! My armor shows off my bewwwbs!" She began spinning in circles.
"Wasn't that the giant embarrassment of an expansion made out of leftover UO2 bits to avoid a lawsuit?" Dupre said incredulously.
"Heck yeah! It had robots!" Dawn answered. "But what were all YOU guys in anyway, besides every other Ultima game?! Anyway it would be totally empowering to have a girl as queen!"
"If that's the case, then I..." Jaana began.
"NOOO!" Dawn shrieked.
"And I wouldn't mind..." Mariah added.
"BORING!" Dawn screamed. "I'm totally cool and awesome and deserve to be queen even though I'm just a gratuitous T&A character nobody liked and barely anyone remembered!" She stamped her wittle feet.
"WE AGREE!" said the omipotent voice of the developers.
And so it was.

Brittle means you cannot PoF them.
You cannot PoF SA artifacts, Replicas (not Vesper Museum Replicas, but the Champ Spawn Artifact Replicas), Virtue Artifacts, The Redeemer, and items with the brittle property.
Maybe I forgot something, but I do not think so.

when we use Crystal,add brittle and focus.
sash has "spell focus" too but only.not mentioned concrete value.
Focus has several different meanings, as an item property it's usually Casting Focus.
Something about being able to avoid having a spell of yours be disrupted.
The other meanings are a the Battle Focus skill (usually just called Focus), and the thing you get from casting the Arcane Circle spell.
But as an item property it's probably Casting Focus.

I am certain that this is what transpired behind closed doors when Dawn arrived in all of her jiggliness and girly-girl assets as Mr. MacFarlane had brought forth. I'm smelling a possible venture with Mattel to make a Barbie outta Dawn - Todd can even get a piece of the action too!

Dawn is a character that dates back to the Lord Blackthorn's Revenge expansion. She was supposed to be a symbol of the Virtues, and to a lesser degree of the Third Dawn client, but never caught on with players. After killing Blackthorn, Dawn receded into private life. One of the dev team members made an off-hand comment about how she had married and retired to Yew. Though meant as an off-hand comment, it was the only explanation we had for why she vanished, and thus it became part of the lore.Should be older probably ... damn that is old

No one really expected to see her again. While I forget who was Producer when she began to reappear, it was late in the Warriors of Destiny event cycle, which was a creature of Draconi. She was targeted by Casca as a potential threat, but turned the tables and ended up leading the resistance, alongside Sherry the Mouse. Eventually, Dawn kililed and overthrew Casca. (On GL I was actually there, and Galen held down Casca and made him watch as Dawn shattered the gem that contained his life force.)
The circumstances under which she became Queen were opaque at best. But the alternative, both in-character and out-, appears to have been to leave the realm shattered, drained of all resources by Casca, and leader-less, all at the same time. The great heroes of Ultima lore, like many great heroes of mythology and legend, proved to be unreliable people, wandering away unexplained for months or years at a time. The Geoffrey from the Abyss housing event, for example, is the same Geoffrey from Ultima lore, but wasn't seen before that for a long time and hasn't been seen since.
Dawn's personality appears to differ quite noticeably shard-to-shard. On LS she is very "girly," holding fashion shows and the like. On GL she is a warrior Queen, comparatively naive but potentially effective, and the implication is that she'd rather be in the field. (Which is one of the reasons why I'm so strongly encouraging Cal to put her out there. During the demon attack on Brit on GL, the defenders would have abandoned the city were it not for her, as played by the EM, directly participating in the battle, rallying us, and basically not letting us leave. GL was one of the first shards to get this attack, and the reward for it wasn't popularly known yet.)
Bringing back Dawn at all made sense, but when she first started to appear I had assumed she was going to die. I was very surprised to see her become Queen. I would like to see her being written better, as a strong character, and would like to see her in the fiction, and on-stage, playing a more direct role in events. I think she will get more support written that way, and I also think it's truer to the character as originally conceived.

Dupre loved his women and his drink. Broad shouldered hard fighting companion of LB. In the end he was spiritual enough to sacrifice himself the sake of the Avatars quest.

I have never heard of Dupre being dead.
The only thing I ever hear about Dupre is that he's still somehow in the background of the TB side of Factions. Perpetually-offstage.
I would surely like to see more of the old characters, as quest givers or just randomly in Brit as stationery NPCs or something.
Or if Dupre's supposed to be in Factions, still, have him standing in the Throne Room looking over a map or something. Saying 'good word' when we get a city, 'damn them' when we lose it.
Dupre would be an interesting one to bring back because him and Dawn actually fought together against the Juka.

Since my Main PvM character has -15,000 loyality to Ophidians, this basically means that I cannot participate in those events, right?
Can you find on the side of the Bane and try and conquer the towns?
From what I saw and heard you still should be able to participate.
Firstly you could participate on the evil side and continue to kill Ophis, Meer, and Britannian Guards.
Also you could redeem yourself by still attacking the Bane Chosen and Virtuebane's other forces, and just avoid the Ophidians until your Ophi points go up. I think it'll happen fairly quickly assuming they increase the point totals, which seems likely.

The Bone Demon Guards were dealing approx 50 damage per swat to an all 70's suit. Now I've been hit for 112 a few times in a row as the spawn thickens there seems to more damage. If this is the case Skara will be over run and drops of course will be that much harder to obtain.

I think the invasion is being controlled by the shard EMs or Mesanna herself. They might be selecting a different town on each shard and change the town crier messages accordingly.
All of the Bane forces are cleared from Trinsic in Europa and no sight of Defenders or Ophidians too. It's been an hour, maybe it will respawn after a while.

This. I've been killing Banes all evening and my points to them are fading quickly. Time to go off and kill some Ophids. Eventually though, I will be negative to all of them if I keep this up. At this point, every time I kill a second wave Bane, I lose 15 of their points but only gain 5 for the Ophidian/ Meer side. Gotta keep an eye on that...

They appear to have purposefully designed it so you can't be neutral to all sides. It's easier, it seems, to be negative to all than neutral to all.
Which is an interesting design, and obviously they intended it that way. The first wave of conflict, Ophidian vs. Bane Chosen, pitted one seemingly-evil group (Bane) against one known-evil (or at least commonly-believed-evil) group (Ophidian). Some were doubtlessly planning to kill both. I know I was, and this was the tactic I took in the Savage vs. Orc war many years back: Both are threats, kill both.
Someone on GL took a very clever tactic for this invasion. He had Bane loyalty, and was able to walk through their forces unmolested, looting the public corpses. Quite clever, and I know he got a lot of crystals that way!

It was Skara Brae hit first on Oceania so far.
Possibly not. A blue-robed figure with Clainin's name is still sprawled across one of the beds in the healer's hut in Haven on three shards: Arirang, Balhae, and Formosa.
Would be neat to see him. Maybe he and Dawn can hook up a few years down the road if Ors dies? Thus linking generations of UO lore.They should totally use Dupre

On Great Lakes there was a neat coronation ceremony, run by the Event Moderators, at which several people spoke. (There was an open call for speeches, and small but diverse number of people put in submissions and spoke.) I do not know what the other shards did.

Okay I have a tactic in mind BUT am not sure if all is fair in love and war as they say and if I would be allowed to do this........BUT as Oceania is a very very small shard our chances of beating back this invasion is just not really going to happen within 24hours announcements are already telling us Skara bare has been taken over by Virtue Bane.
So I was wondering if to BOOST our army ranks we can tame and release like Unicorns that will kill anything negative Karma or at least distract it and **** it off a little aiding our good karma troops....is this an allowed tactic or would I get into some trouble?
