I have been with UO for...well a couple days...
I have seen posts from people who are unable to patch. I thought myself lucky because I have a fast conn and a machine made for gaming. Lucky me I get to avoid this.
Well...not now. I can't get the last patch. (this means it could happen to you too) I followed the link it gives..
That took me to UO hearald. So I tried support and patch. I found a long list of EA's games, nothing to do with UO.
The real irony: lastnight I was on the phone with tech from another company. While I was waiting online games came up. I spent the whole time trying to convert him from wow to UO useing my best sultry female voice.
Anyway...back to trying to find support. And next time you see a post from someone that can't patch...could be you...

Oh as a side note...when directed to an "update page" I was told it's not available.

First question, which client are you using?
If classic, find the patch folder and empty it, then try patching again.

Also look for a file called 'patchlog'. Open it in notepad and scroll to the bottom. It will tell you which file failed to patch.

Right click your icon if you are running windows 7 or vista. Select run as admin. You should patch correctly after that.

ah, yes. For windows 7, I set uopatch.exe to run as admin too.

I could check again....hmmm well according to all my biology classes...the texts...the labs...yes...I am still female. (oh I got an A in bio so I think I am right)
