Greetings!

As we continue to prepare Publish 69 for its world-wide release we will be bringing down the Origin shard at 11:30PM EST. Bug fixes can be found below and a complete list of changes can be found here. We anticipate the shard should be back online by 12:30AM EST, thank you.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where some metal weapons and armor where not dye-able with the metal dye tub veteran reward.
• Added metal chest to the dye-able item list on the metal dye tub veteran reward.
• House owners can now dye metal items that are locked down using the metal dye tub veteran reward.
• Fixed pinkish color appearing on the new veteran boura mount in the Classic Client
• Fixed issue with colors on certain pieces of equipment in the Classic Client.

We are aware of the issue with the holiday gifts. We will get that resolved as soon as possible.

There is also a known issue with the female gargoyle overhead chat appearing below the avatar. We are still working on a fix for that as well. I apologize to all you gargoyle vixens for the inconvenience.

The boura are really pale in the EC.. Albino-like in fact.. Most of the detail is lost in the glare.

If these things are staying in, they should give a small DCI buff since they are armored...

No benefit that I can see. But, its kinda cute in a hideous sort of way.

Vet rewards are not supposed to give an advantage in a game balance way.

I admit to some surprise that there is only one 13th year choice, there have been several in times past, however it is no surprise that this gives no in game advantage. There would be an outcry if it did.

1 year Stat Caps gives Vets an Advantage over Others.

1-4 year Skill Caps Give Vets an Advantage over Others.


And those are within the first 4 years. (Not 1000% loyal proven dedicated players even)

Here let me put it this way, From an Advantage perspective..

The 1 Year +5 Stat/Skill Cap increase gives more advantage than the 13 Year Vet Reward.

(Granted that the Cap increases arnt Chosen rewards, they are still "Veteran Rewards" As they are "Awarded" due to being a 1 year Vet.)

To be honest, the armoured boura is actually quite well rendered. In both CC and EC. It looks like a baby boura.

I think it's the only mount so far that actually has a saddle.

So I'll definitely be getting one.




Now, regarding magic reflect, did they push ahead with the -10 phys cap?

I have a serious question Supreem if you feel like answering it. Why is it that almost always patches are released with known bugs still in them? I've been waiting over a year now for magic arrow nether bolt to be fixed...I don't think a few more days would hurt. Just something I've never understood...

Those rugs look like an amateur graphic artist made some free art for The Sims game. I expect more from the Devs at this point, especially when they give us lovely items like the grandfather clocks. Before this publish goes live, please please please fix those horrid rugs. I would love to claim them because of their function (the item drops) but I would have to display them in a locked, pitch-dark dungeon at the bottom of my house. Do us a favor and quit looking through the clip art (I've seen that rose many times in MS Word ok?) and start hiring actual artists (you can find many on Deviant Art). As for the ridable boura, couldn't you come up with a better 13th year reward? We have enough mounts in the game already.

I like my fake sig better ... baby boura! hmm yeah it is very tiny compared to a normal boura. well, it's cool in it's own way but I wanted a hulking beast.

I'd say the rider bounces too often for the stride, and when it runs, the boura doesn't look like it's really going as fast as it is. but cute graphic. ugh, cute I want a beast!

The only issue I had on test was trying to place carpet on a small home. An 8x8 outside of Minoc was not big enough to place. A house that small is not commonplace anymore but it should be a warning before picking.

Whatever our preference, we can still highlight it and be respectful about it. The devs turned back the dial on a few issues with lockdowns and such because of that.
