Sitting with her back to the wall of the common room, Chaos swirled the ale around in her mug and thought over the past week. Taking a sip, the bitter swill reflected the bitterness she felt in her heart. Friends becoming enemies; harsh words spoken in anger. She always felt more comfortable in the shadows and solitude but she had formed some bonds in this place far from home that should have lasted.
She sighed and rubbed her eyes. So much for the bonds of brotherhood, she thought. She had been on the run since learning of the split, ever fearing the assassins blade around every corner. How ironic. Reduced from hunter to hunted. The ache, the longing for home had been growing for days. Rising from her chair, she dropped some gold for the waitress and pulled the shadows around her. Brushing past an unsuspecting drunkard, she slipped out the side door and into the sweet anonymity of night.
[OOC: I've enjoyed my time on Catskills but I'll be putting my girl Chaos into retirement. Thanks for the fights and the memories. Those of you with my contact info, keep in touch!]
