I have been rather light handed as of late. I see some few have decided to take this as permission to push the limits of this friendly forum. I will ask Lady Skylark to craft a new Iron Fist as well as a new time out chair.

Keep pushing the limits and I will ask for something along these lines...

Just saying board PvP is OK, but I have seen some ugliness creeping in. That does not promote our shard.

The first four rules... Yeah, I keep them them in mind. Stratics is a privilege not a right. Just as a reminder.

A. Show respect at all times.

B. Help build the Community.
The success of our forums depends upon the quality posts of our participants. We are proud of the success of our forums and give our thanks to those who have chosen to make our forums their out-of-game home. To ensure continued success we are posting these guidelines so that all participants of the Stratics forums understand what is considered unacceptable behavior in the forums and can result in a temporary suspension or a permanent ban.

C. Personal attacks are prohibited.This specifically means any text/post that is blatantly attacking another person on or off the forum, especially in a personal way.

D. Trolling is prohibited.Trolling is whenever someone is clearly, deliberately posting in a manner for the purpose of angering and/or insulting the other participants of the board. Trolling DOES NOT encourage further discussion in the long run, it only encourages personal attacks (if left unchecked).

Well, Kelmo, you know I love ya, butI have to say with all due respect, I'll believe it when I see it. Some of the same trolls are posting wreaking havoc today that were here 5+ years ago when I joined this lovely community. Hell, for that matter, I AM STILL HERE POSTING... and have done my fair share of trolling over the years.

My point is that your words might be taken a bit more seriously if we actually believed there were some real consequences and consistency. Dogs that pee on the carpet will always pee on the carpet if you only try to do something about it a few times a year.

Don't forget about: S. Off Topic (OT) are not prohibited, but should be posted within reason. There are some topics that are not appropriate for the forums. All posts are subject to these rules. Excessive OT posts will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

I know Siege is a bit different and attracts a different sort of folk. Still this is a public forum that has rules in place for a reason.

There are rules that specifically apply to moderation as well. I must follow these rules when it applies to bans, infractions and warnings.

And with due respect I have to agree with Kat. You know I love ya too Kelmo, but seriously I get this forum and UHall mixed up at times and end up posting over there thinking I'm on this board.
