ok i have fished up 627 mib's since the new fishing system went into place. so far i have recieved one ships strong box. has anyone else had these dismal numbers? now luckily i have saved about 2000 more mibs to go but i think the odds are a little high on these.

Just the lovely RNG, I fished up 125 Mibs, Only 2 were Ancient.. I should have 5..

The odds are 1:25. That does not mean you get 1 in 25.
Sometimes you crack 100 mibs and get 1 asos.
Other times you crack 10 mibs and get 2 asos.
Each mib is independent from one another. So having 25 doesnt mean you get 1 ancient. Cause the 25 you got could ALL represent the 96% of mibs that are regular.

And at around 250, I got my second strongbox. Based on the data we have gathered so far, the rate seems to be around 0.5% - 1%.

I love the low spawn rate of strong boxes, and wish they were even lower.
Look at the other new fish loot. It is already almost worthless by UO gold standards.
Other than the strong box and bikini, the rest spawns excessively high.
I wish they made all the new loot spawn at such insanely low rates, if not lower to be honest.
It is a shame that a month after the booster, items are already not worth looting.

Just did 110 MIBs and got 105 SOSs and 5 ASOSs.
Out of all those I got 3 ship strongboxes.

From about 150mibs I have 2 strongboxes.
One is pure white from a Asos.
One is pure white from a Asos.

What do they look like? Regular strongboxes from old (i.e. gold metal box?).
After throwing a white net and killing off a Leviathan, I found a "wooden" box. Kind of cream colored like the event armor from Queen Dawn's guards. The contents of this box were a few blight.

Got a white strong box today, in it was fabled fish net some jewels 40k in gold and copper ingots some ecru Citrine gems and Dark Saphire gems-- no armour or jewellery or scrolls

From what I remember, this is similar to what I got.
On siege i got 1 strongbox out of the first 50 mibs. Working on the second batch of 50 mibs.
What did you find lootwise in the white strongbox? Was the fabled net still in there?
