Is this event over for this year or is it still going?
I have no idea when it was announced to end, hence the question. It ended, server-side, precisely at the time indicated it would end.
What on earth does ones browser have to do with UO?However, there was a loophole that allowed anyone to Trick or Treat past the end time, so long as they didn't restart their browser since before the end time.
If anyone can still trick or treat, it means that they've not restarted their browser in the last 70 hours.
*winds up a double palm strike*Oops - meant client.... Was playing a browser game at the time
But, interestingly enough, the client patcher seems to have issues whenever my browsers do, as its window for providing the latest update info is browser-based - I've even gotten my browser's "failed to load page" message in that data window of the client patcher.
As for the date, at least one dev said a couple times when it would end, even BEFORE the official announcement. Try learning to read statements from the Dev Team, why don't you? You might actually find the thing you CLAIMED to look for...
From the 12 Nov FAQ Friday (on UOHerald, linked to from U.Hall)
Q: When is the cut off dates for Halloween Trick or Treating and the 13th Anniversary rewards?
Mesanna: The cut off dates are as follows: Halloween cut off is November 15th – The 13th year anniversary gifts cut off is Nov. 28th
I replied to you in another thread, but I think it fell off the bottom.Oh well, missed it then.
But yeah, it uses a browser, which is likely why UOs patcher screen has never worked on Windows 7 64 Bit.
They really need to do something about this.
