Ancient Hellhounds Gone?

I was spawning a couple of these suckers tonight having a blast. The second the clock hit 1am est time every time i fed a hellhound they just disapeared. I know they said trick or treating stopped on the 15th but they never mentioned the hellhounds. Can any dev please let us know if we can keep using our treats like people are still able to use crystalized essences from last year?

People that are obviously grieing with the hell hounds need to be checked. there are some of us that do enjoy going out and fighting a few each night for the hell of it. Last night we killed a bunch of them and it was a blast.

agree! but they need to take the vender out aswell, i only found out about this because a guildy bought a treat this morning and ...nothing lol

Yes but it doesnt mention the hellhounds. I started this thread becuase you still able to spawn the harbringer, over a year now since the crystalized essences from last Halloween. If they are going to stop the hellhounds give us something else to use our treats on. The hellhounds were fun for us to do.

It said, it will be turned of on the 15th. Well it still is the 15th and I just bought 500 treats for over 600k because I planned to spend the night killing Ancient Hellhounds, just to find out I throw those 600k away because the treats aren't working anymore.

I don't care if the treats still work or not, but REMOVE THAT VENDOR! Having people spend gold for stuff that doesn't work is quite demotivating.

As someone who has been zaped with a harbenger or 2 from some idiot(s) who will remain nameless (in game)..... That was one item they SHOULD have turned off!!! I didnt mind the puppys... you knew where one was gunna be not that you could drag it into a gate was fantastic. You knew its range and had fun.... That harbenger thou.... @#$@#$@# ate my tail too many times. Not fun.

Harbringer is/was quite fun. We like to spawn in in peerless dungeons after we kill the boss. The ten minute timer gives us plenty of time to kill it and we dont have to worry about others being bothered by it or worry about others trying to get in on our spawn.

i chained them one night and i think i got to like 8.
and what would ya need 500 sashes that turn you into werewolfs for.... does being a werewolf even do anything for us?

i must admit they where fun to kill, but 500?
i guess you could have been stocking up for 3 months worth of doing them.

Slasher kills them in 2 hits, 1 ebolt from you is enough to get the sash, so you can get 2-3 sashes per minutes. Makes like 4h for 500.

Maybe let us train a tamed hellhound through various stages, involving feeding them with treats, to a more powerful version (mini ancient), which would be on toe with Dread Warhorses.

The Harbingers still have a chance to drop the Conjurer's Garb robe. It's costly, since it was hard to get the yellow crystals and now you can't get any. I don't know the drop rate for the robes, but it's a risk to pop one these days.... it wasn't the case with the hellhounds, that's for sure. Maybe there's a valid reason to have a stockpile of sash's, but we all really know what is going on here.

And if I choose to get them while in Deceit while stealthed, while other players are doing a champ spawn there, and popping stealth long enough to loot a corpse.. then you can't say anything cause I pay the same money to play this game and.. *sob*... you are a big meany for telling me I can't play the game how I want to! *wimper* * Sob* Crocodile tear~!
