What database is used for the pumpkins names?

Are the names taken from the characters on the shard?

Do you have to be currently logged into the shard?

or does some type of quest need to be performed in order to get your name on the database?

I've seen pumpkins pop up with the same name several times, but alas I have not been so lucky.

Hmm.. lucky.. does luck have anything to do with it?

I found a pumpkin for a char of mine that has not been logged in for 2 days and has yet to log in. Not sure where they are getting thier info from.

I've seen pumpkins pop up with the same name several times, but alas I have not been so lucky.

The RNG does seem to get in a bit of a rut. I've found four pumpkins with the same name in the same field a few times, and found a dozen or more with the same name on a run through the Skara Brae, Britain, Yew, and Moonglow farm fields.Only found my main characters and one side characters pumpkins so far, in spite of an hours hunting with other characters.

I think I now see why having 92% LRC usually fails about 90% of casting attempts due to lack of regeants fairly often, <laugh> the RNG needs that rut filled in.
