New Bug with fields

You can't cast fields on bridges over water.... The com base bridge(the only portions you can cast on are above land), the destard bridge, the terra keep bridge.... This is extremely detrimental to pvp...

....not a new problem. Haven't been able to cast fields there for years unless you put something on the bridge (e.g., barrels, bandages, etc.) to use to "anchor" the field when you cast it.

You used to be able to target yourself and have the field work correctly. You can not now. They have broken fields being casted on bridges and the result is an enormous nerf to mages in pvp.

No idea why that was considered a bug. You really need to ask a developer for that.

if you cast fields on yourself they don't cast under you. Say good bye to on the move field casts...

if you cast a field on someone it doesn't cast on them either

I guess I'm failing to see why they felt this needed to be changed. It's been like that for years. There wasn't anything crazy about it.

It wasn't a bug it's been a feature since UO started.
