Does Fishing skill matter?

For convience, my wife and I have use using our Fishers while I run to the fishmongers to turn in quest, get new ones. The levels of the quest have increased (just got my first 5 line).

So I ask, does fishing skill matter when getting the quest?

Actually it is said, that you get below 80 fishing only quests for shore fishes and that you need 106 skill before you will see quests for dungeon fishes. other than that nothing is known.

The 'lines' simply refer to the different kinds of fishes that you need to fill a single order. Its possible that you can get only 1-liners with a small boat.

5 lines is like 5 different kind of fish and/or crabs for one crate.
