Mesanna clarified that anniversary rewards were not vet rewards. We're getting anniversary rewards this week, one of which will be a white leather dye tub I guess. She said the Vet rewards will be coming out in December, which according to her is the normal time for them.

Well, personally, as a Ultima Online player, I'd rather that any change to the game was told and known by all players through an official announcement to the official Web Site of the game or that no Ultima Online player would know them until the publish hits the commercial servers...........

I just do not find that having only a limited number of players (even if a "large group"of players...) be able to know of any change before hand is a good thing towards all of the rest of the players who are left in the dark, without knowing.

That;s just how I see it.

Probably because they are running late, and the booster being literally pushed out early didn't help. UO tends to run late, though, on a LOT of things, imo. They really should try to start schedules for when to work on this stuff.

- Aye, with everything we have imagined over the past 13+ years.. I am sure we will think some of the vet rewards are 'lame'.

That being said, this thread is about 'free' Anniversary items and 'free' Halloween festivities. Sure, they have become an accepted/expected tradition over the years.. but many have become appreciative/anticipative of them. Lighten up?

Halloween will run until the 15th of nov. then the thanksgiving event is to start and run until the 15th of dec. and the xmas will last until the new years that is what we had been said at the em hall (I for one will take that with a gain of salt if it don't pan out like that no worries they are just doing the best they can ? )

To clarify, I heard from a guild mate who happened to be at the EM event I was not at because I was asleep.
I don't know any Devs and considering they released this at an event, I don't think it was really classified or going to get anyone in trouble. Especially when it was Mesanna who said it, and she's one of the top dogs.

If you'd care to look back to last year, you'll find that halloween content started very shortly before halloween and continued till a couple of weeks after the date.
