How Do You Board Scuttled Legacy Ships

Can you elaborate a bit more? You blasted a legacy ship in Felucca and cannot board? Or did you have a legacy ship that got blasted by pirates in Trammel and now you can't get back to it?
In fel, i scuttled a legacy boat with players on it and cannot board to fight them.

Just had a boat pull up next to mine and start blasting it. I was just off the shore of haven in Trammel. Is this intended in Tram?

Probably an exploit, so careful
Was it a player boat, a blue NPC ship, or a Pirate ship?

Was members of Hot. Noticed several highly damaged player ships around after sailing off from Haven. All damaged to point you can board them. You can still not access anything on the boat like holds and cannons, so that is a good sign.
That is still a lot of grief that should probably not be possible in Tram.
Do not know how I feel about posting this though cause don't really want word to go around but feel people should be ready for it as well.

I was at the dock in Trammel Skara Brae waiting for the Alchemist to refresh. A player comes alongside another boat already docked and commences firing on it until it was heavily damaged... then started on the next boat. He left after all boats that were docked there were damaged. Personally, I'd call that griefing.
Id call that griefing as well.
I mean what's the point if you can't board, access the hold or the cannons?
Other than causing the boat owner to have to pay for repairs I see no other purpose for this on Tram.
Maybe the guy is role playing an evil loon who doesn't really want anything except to see the world burn *shrugs*
