Random note.. I used a Pile of Snow for targeting when i played my Thief.

Worked just fine.'

It doesnt use a Skill timer and every once in a while It would mix things up by throwing snow at them (If they have some too)

item id skill is quick timer, and as stated snow is good

That's perfect man, thank you. I was considering doing arms lore or anatomy as in the above post, but the timer does cause problems on occasion.

Time to dig through my holiday bags.

Immediate follow-up regarding snow pile.

"You cannot throw snowballs while mounted or flying."

System message when you try.

Any other suggestions?

*Non Mounted or Flying - In Stealth*

Snow > Item You wish to Steal. (It is now targeted)

Mount Up

Steal > Last Target > Pray you are quick.

I used stealth obviously.

Plus Snow doesnt reveal you from stealth if you dont actually throw it (They dont have any) Which is one of the biggest reasons its useful.

I dont have to pray for quickness anymore

But i need a foolproof targetting item. There has to be something. Newbied daggers always worked, but now apparently they break after use even if you dont skin things.
