Greetings,

The following changes will go live during tomorrows daily maintenance, thank you!

Publish 68.2
Bug Fixes
•Increased the chance to get fishing power scrolls. Quests breaks down to the following: under 80 for shallow water fish, over 80 for deep sea fishing, over 106 for dungeon fishing
•Fishmonger Quests are now properly removed from the quest journal
•Resolved an issue with players not receiving the fishing crate when you accept a Fishmonger quest.
•Fixed the issue with players not being allowed access to the hold of Pirate/Merchant ships in Trammel.
•Ship control no longer takes up a pet slot.

not sure I understand what this means

Doesn't the deep water move, while the shallow water doesn't?

Deep water appears to slowly move from top-left to bottom-right.

But, for overall utility, a Crystal Ball of Knowledge is awesome.

Deep water moves, Shallow doesn't. You need to stay still to notice it clearly.

Maybe its for gaining under 80 need to fish shallow water
between 80 and 106 deep water and over 106 dungeon?

At 86 skill I gained fishing XP(knowledge) from shore fish quests. This was back when they still had the debug messages on.

Also I've received 3 quests for dungeon fish and I haven't broken 90 skill yet.

This patch note is completely vague.

•Ship control no longer takes up a pet slot. This has been fixed so I think it went live like they said.

Are you on the char's ship who is getting the quest? If you are on a ship owned by your account but another char it will give you the quest but not the box, this happened to me once and that was the reason.

You may have to delete the old ones from your quest log.

Are you on the char's ship who is getting the quest? If you are on a ship owned by your account but another char it will give you the quest but not the box, this happened to me once and that was the reason.

This is still happening to me today. Just deleted all the old quests, completed one to turn in at Skara, got a new one to turn in at Jhelom. My quest log does not show the new quest only the one that I just completed.

I'm hoping this isn't affecting the XP that I'm getting.

Just [10/17] received quest for rainbow trout which, I believe, is a shallow water fish with GM fishing skill.rolleyes: from Skara Brae Atl

Are there fishing related reputation/loyalty points adding (or subtracting if a quest is abandoned) If so - are they viewable? Is there a logistic write-up on pointing system (if said system does exist)?

I think they mean that under 80 you only get shallow quests, 80-106 you get shallow and deep, and 106+ you get all three types.

Ah! Thanks. sssssssssssss I've listened to the tales & pains of guildies grinding the BODs for tailoring and smithing - hence I have no tailor or smith . Oh well - we'll see how long I can take it. Now have 2 quests for apple crabs and one for crusty lobster hehehe

Looking forward to hear wad up wid point system in the fish questing and how dropping quests affects it.
