Not sure if anyone has posted legendary fish on production yet. This one doesn't weigh much, but if no one has posted, here's one I just got.

Got it shortly after getting a normal green big fish that weighed 5 stones. So they do still spawn, I was wondering.

It is one of the rare fishes. I got 3 great barracudas when fishing in fel (20 - 55 stones). I suppose there are other rare fishes that require 110/120 fishing.

I already caught 4 of those Yellowtail Barracudas, the heaviest weighing 133 stones. It seems they replaced the normal big fish. No idea whether this was intended.

I've caught a few normal big fish so certainly not replaced, Maybe just alongside them.


I have a few of these and a Blue Merlin and I'm only GM fishing. (Caught those with no bait too!)

So I'm not sure they need 120 to be caught, Well, Clearly they don't! So I'm wondering if maybe 5-10 of the rare fish only need 120.

Well does the bait work like mining gloves and let you fish beyond your skill. Doing the quest a bunch and the bait piling up. Should it be used before smelling up the house? Maybe there are hotspots where the RNG doesn't look as hard on how high your skill is. And like real fishing players will have there secret spots to go fish rares. And we know it is not broke. Never happens but does sound fishy, catching to many rares at GM.

If it takes up too many storage, you can combine the baits of same kind. Simply doubleclick one and target another. (But I dont know, if theres a max number of charges on one or up to which amount you can combne them.)

During about 45 minutes of fishing last night I caught two yellow tail. A 22 stone one and a 44 stone one. I didn't catch any other big fish. These were caught just a few screens east of the Sea Market. OTOH, I only caught a single Captain Snook but craploads of other stuff.

I fished with GM fishing. No bait.

I havent used bait yet, but I read you apply it to fishing rod. I assume it boosts chance, somehow ... maybe a 15% chance increase or something.

As for combining baits, that has been answered before me, hehe ;P.

From what I'm reading, people have gotten Fire Fish and the one I got and a few others per Mapper. So I'd say if you have bait, and want fishing buffs, use the bait in those areas ... or now that it is known they spawn, perhaps sell them. Not sure ... have to do so many quests just to be able to get a fishing PS ...

wow...they must be able to be fished at 80 then like big fish
