  • Pirates will no longer be deleted off player boats when the pirate boat decays
  • Dead players can now interact with the plank of the legacy ships.
  • Players can now dry dock row boats in deep water and from other ships
  • Fishmongers will no longer bark debug barks.
  • Compassion Sage potions will work correctly now. You MUST log out and back in with the potions in your backpack for the potions to work correctly.

There is also an issue with the captured pirates disappearing when you cross a server line. Nothing like wasting 10 hours making boat supplies...3 hours finding and fighting the pirate...only to have him poof. Honestly, I am a bit pissed...

Someone please fix the crafting grind, and the server line issue...thanks.

is this two more on top of the two that messana put there yesterday giving us a total of 5? It really needs to be like gems constant supply, rising price.

As far as the crafting grind....keep it that way! I love the fact that now crafters have a use again!

Finally...Navery TY TY TY ......rocks had become way to overpowered.

I wonder if that means all fish mongers in all ports that have them?

sorry voodoo I meant to quote the original post
I think this correct because I just saw two alchemists selling saltpeter at the Jhelom docks.

Yeah, there are some on the southern dock on the main isle of Jhelom... But none on the northern dock, or either of the docks on the smaller isles.

Serpent's Hold also appears to have been missed entirely.

While this is a great start for the problem, saltpeter needs to be made like potions (perpetual 500) for cannoneering to be even remotely viable. Having them start at 20 saltpeter and then take 45 mins to cycle will still aggrivate many.

I think there's still only one selling NPC per facet in Lake Austin too. One guy has been camped there all day, at least 7 hours straight as several other folks come and go trying to win the saltpeter lottery...

Seems to me like it was a great decision by Biolay Fritoware to push UO:HAHAHA from pre-Alpha to post-Beta, and quickly into the Live Paid Beta that pretty much every other UO Expansion lives on in perpetuity. Good thing they didn't spend longer testing/fixing bugs. Wouldn't have wanted to deprive the masses of a quality, bug-free... yeah... can't even focus on my sarcasm I'm so glad I haven't bought the expansion.

Now I'm glad I did not buy the booster. Probably won't until some time in January.

I'd hate to pay for something that once again, looks like it was released with the knowledge of some severe bugs.

Ditto, what Amren said. I've been busy cleaning house to get avail storage up, maybe i'll skip this booster.

I am here to tell you, who always complain so loudly, that they have no idea what it means to endure changes daily , crashes ,lag ups that last for hours with no movement . Where are the rest of you ,who could stand up and defend the way this game has been improved. Where are the seasoned vets that have come thru endless reverts and fixes for years . Nothing is static .This game has many bugs including human ones(that exploit and hack) and has always needed to be checked and balanced; thus improved .How else are we all still enjoying this since it began years ago. If we don't play, find the bugs and glitches and eventually find ways to cause improvement ,by accident or design ,this game would never have lasted this long. And what makes you think that this does not happen in all games? You have a forum to complain ,one to ask for new things and developers that listen .and still you criticize and complain you are not going to buy..If we all did that in the beginning you would not even be here.

I also have to say that iam positivly suprised from this addon! Iam angry because of this salpeter thing, but this means not that this addon overall is bad.

The ships are cool, the movement of the ships compared to the beta fantastic also in the Enhanced Client no flickering! The pirates hunting is funny, also without cannons, the corgul encounter is cool desinged a floating island very nice idea!

Having been a customer since October 1997, and having bought every previous expansion and boxed set this game has ever released, I'm simply tired of supporting the downward trend of development that goes into expansions.

I'm a programmer, so I understand that bugs happen. I'm never expecting a 100% bug-free release. However, I do expect that known bugs are addressed prior to release, particularly when they affect game play. I'm also painfully aware that while we'll get a few quick bug fixes -- as we do post every expansion -- many of the known bugs will continue to be known for a year or two down the line.

If people are enjoying the expansion, that's fine. If people are going to go into it with diminished expectations, that's also fine. But I'm not going to stand up and cheer with my dollar bills the kind of shoddy, rushed development that UO:HA just went through. There was no reason for a rush (even if it was EA execs, someone needs to grow a pair of larger balls and stand up to his supervisor and say, "Yes, we could release on October 12, but doing so will continue to damage our reputation... give us two, three weeks to fix the bugs, smooth the release, and let us go live when we've had an appropriate amount of time to fix things. We'll sell more, and it'll do wonders for our public presence.").

Again, people are welcome to upgrade. I'm not telling anyone what to do. I'm simply voicing that as a long-term customer, I'm done paying for half-baked content. I already bought UO:SA with the expectation of a completed product, and we're into UO:HA while a huge part of the SA Ter Mur landmass remains unaccessible. I'm sort of tired of feeding them money and being distracted by the shinies.
