Same issues of dieing and noone seeing your ghost and having to relog on 2d for a rez.

Try going outta war mode then back into war mode *ohh* what an idea! I get rezzed on EC all the time, same as i do on CC!

Not only that, but all the healers in the area are marked on your minimap. If you are having problems with display corruption while you are a ghost there is an option to turn off the hardware accelerated death effect which should sort that issue for you.

It's not unfair if everyone can get EC and said mods.. You just chose not to use it.

As for the second part, yes, that was kind of the point of the post to begin with.

The EC works very well without mods. However the mods make it even better, and that's what mods are supposed to do. I love mods, that is one of the best things about the EC, that you can mod it without it being called a cheat.

Much like the partnership between CC and UOA ... which the EC Fanboi's constantly deride...

UO:A is relevent to the CC/EC debates though. Not to EC users (because they have a client with actual features at last) but to CC users. I have a question for the CC users who keep going on about the advantages EC users get:

Do you really believe that the CC's lack of features and it's disadvantages compared to the EC is unrelated to the existence of UO:A?

See, I don't have a problem with the program itself. I have a problem with it's existence as a legal 3rd party program. I think the existence of UO:A is the reason the devs never bothered to improve or add features to the CC.

Years ago before the EC even existed, I used say the same thing (and that it's features should be included in the classic client), but people would come out in force going "just pay fifteen bux lol". Well you know if all you people hadn't been so willing to hand over cash to a third party and been a little more vocal about it, you probably could have had most of the EC UI features in the classic client several years ago.

Doesn't happen all the time but it does, not being seen as a ghost. like running into the underground enterance and your buddies are naked all of a sudden. EC is wrinkled steel and needs a heavier iron and I'm a fan of the stretchy 3d container and not the grid stretch. Nothing can be displayed or sorted with grid stretch thats not in your pack.

The only reason for the glitch in the limited happenings is I made a few new hotbar additions or macros and didn't relog before death. And in a mob area with many players in party

They are comparable. They are both designed to make up for the deficiencies of the vanilla client itself. Whether open source mod or paid for utility is irrelevant.

i see no such healers marked on the radar or atlas. how is this turned on?

There is no configuration option but they only show on your radar if you are in ghost form.

Before I start, perhaps the initial troll should have been deleted, and an infraction handed out for the clear violation of the RoC. However, as this was not done, and the insult was made publicly, I will defend myself publicly. If you find it tiresome, don't read it.

I don't think you are as dense as this post makes you appear to be. I'm guessing this is just a continuing part of the troll. But again, as the personal attack is public, and has continued, I will answer it publicly, and spell it out clearly so you can't continue to play your role of the misunderstood innocent being victimized by someone who is overly sensitive.

When you use the term "fanboi" about someone you are essentially saying that the person to whom you are referring is biased to such a degree that nothing they say about the subject has any value. It's a debating tactic, a logical fallacy (see "poisoning the well"), and a personal insult.

I'll spell it out further so that you understand that all three of those definitions are a personal insult, and in this case completely untrue.

- I'm a fan of the EC, but I have posted dozens of suggestions and bug reports, which should be a clear indication that I do not think the EC is perfect, nor do I like everything about it. I could post all kinds of links supporting this, but you can do that on your own dime, they aren't hard to find, just search for posts under my name.

- See the answer to number 1. Again, what is implied is that nothing that the person against whom the insult is directed has to say has any value, because it is hopelessly biased and as a result completely untrustworthy. It is a troll, a person insult, and a fine example of the "poisoning the well" logical fallacy.

3. You already acknowledged that this definition constitutes a personal insult. And I am equally sure that you were aware of this when you used the term, and this was part of the intended message.
