Gaining high end (UBER HIGH END) HONOR ??

i have allways loved my macers.

the first template i ever made back in 97 and i still play them today.
love'em

so i reventlly decided to get bcak into playing my main macer.
decided i would set some challenges for myself.
one of which was to finally hit the Knight of Honor (which im assuming the title is) for topping out your honor.

now, i allready use honor non stop on my melee guys, so i was allready on the third tier for honor starting this up.

so i went out and started killing demons in fel.
500 later im still sitting at 5/10 jewels in honor.

k, so thats not gonna work.

i remember reading something a couple years back about using RCs to gain high level honor.

so im sitting here in cov fel in the bottom level killing them, im over 100 so far and not one gain, still 5/10 in the honor jewels.

so i went and re-read the write up on honor.
i seem to be doing everything right.
i honor the RC.
i disarm, let the RC hit me first.
i dont move.
i dont use poison.
i just stand there and let my auto attack kill the RC.

nothing, no honor gains.

anyone have any suggestions?

short of doing and doing peerlesses solo that is.

(and just so the mods here know, there is nothing about this in the warrior FAQ stickied up top, might be worth addind it into the part on Honor)

Succubi, Balrons, Thrasher, Miasma, Silk, Lissith, Swoop.

They'll all get you there. Succubi do it fastest, I think.

Rotten Corpses won't get you close at all.

i answered my own question.

Sucabus's took me to Knight.

from 5th jewel to 6th - 12
from 6th to 7th - 13
from 7th to 8th - 8
from 8th to 9th - 16
from 9th to Knight - 21
total from 5th jewel to Knight was 70 sucabus's

The spot you worked Honor at I've found to be the fastest method in the game. With the near instant respawn, even working it in Fel can't compare. It only takes 2-3 hits to kill, so you can have one dead in less than 4 seconds, with the next spawning within a couple of seconds, if not faster.

Yep, even Thrasher in Fel.

I use Thrasher in Fel, as they can spawn as parragon they can give the full 32k, and are just as fast to kill on all templates. I've never managed to knight it from succubi - no idea why because I know lots of other people do.
