alot of the events like this go on the schedule of that shards em's. so primetime hours are best chance id say. though the last one with the guardian demons in luna and brit was very hard to catch on some shards. if your em has a website or board in game keep an eye on it.
Oo la la! Something to do in Ilsh and something new for alchemists? Could it be a counter to the sleep spell?
I, honestly, was thinking "new mage book!" when I read tome ... or maybe the servant would cast sleep on Dawn, followed by exp spell plague bombard nether bolt
. Also, I like that Dawn drinks water; she needs a UO-equiv of Gatorade, hehe .

anyways, i wonder whats in store for those who go lookin for this plant? Im seeing creepy super bog things and corpsers! or maybe the meer have some insight into the plant.
Compassion Sage is clinicly proven to reduce nightmares in 45% of those who take it. Some who have taken Compassion Sage reported Demonic Diarhea and extreme Mongbatism. You should not take Compassion sage if you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or while operating an Ethy. Consult your Wandering Healer if any side affects occur.

Yeah, the mention of events is gone. Probably due to scheduling issues so every shard had an event - minus Siege of course...
What would be nice would be for another EM (on another shard) just to pop in to occasionally a few days earlier/later of these events to do it on Siege (properly advertised on the shard to inform as many people as possible, and the forum wouldn't be bad). Not asking any EM that volunteered to create events, but just to moonlight occasionally for these all-shard events.
Hey, or even Mesanna herself. I appreciate she's busy, but not asking for it to be at the same time as other shards. Could be a few days later.
Not even asking for it to be everytime one of these events happens, I can appreciate we don't have a full time EM, but it'd be nice once in a while.

I believe the US-based UO team is responsible for the two Korean shards (Arirang and Balhae) and the Taiwanese shard (Formosa). However, I think those shards rarely, if ever, have events run by EMs or Mesanna. They were certainly not included on the list of shards when the first batch of EMs was announced on December 19, 2008 (http://vboards.stratics.com/uhall/117000-your-new-event-moderators.html).
Several months later (i.e., March 27-28, 2009), when all other shards had the Cloak and Dagger event that ended up with Claining being killed in Trinsic, these shards were left off the schedule. (Mythic Entertainment | Ultima Online - Play the 14-Day Free Trial!.) Last time I checked about two months ago, Clainin was still injured and in bed at the healer's shop in Haven on these three shards.
If you look in the EM forums for these shards here on Stratics, they're virtually empty. Balhae had a small burst of activity for a while this spring but then nothing. Balhae also has an EM website ( UO Balhae ), but it is also dormant. Formosa's EM website ( Ultima Online - Formosa ) hasn't been updated since June 6th. Arirang doesn't seem to have an EM forum.
I suspect that Mesanna or one of the other EMs usually remembers at the last minute to give these shards the "vending machines" to dole out pixel crack, but that's probably all the "event" related activity they see.
Perhaps when the Japanese shards get an EM program, these three other shards might be unofficially adopted by the Japanese team and get their own EMs. Maybe they'll also play some catch-up and do something with Clainin, other than just quietly making him disappear.

Sadly, this "Announcement" contains no information, or at least no useful information. When does this begin, does it end, is it EM related, where do folks go, Ilsh, is that all???

They can be found on controllers. Killed bout 100 and only got 3, and they are non stackable.

Really... adding the stack code to new items should, indeed, be priority one when introducing new items.

No, seriously. Enough with the non-stacking items that are commodities and resources. It's fairly well gone on beyond unacceptable at this point. I'm really, really, really tired of seeing new items introduced that don't stack.
And, while we're on the subject, why the bloody Hades don't chocolate ingredients stack yet? Are those on some mysterious list of secret weapons that if you chuck a piece of white chocolate at the Slasher of the Veils, his teeth decay immediately and he becomes as frightening as a mongbat? Is hording the products of chocolate ingredients (you know, chocolates) some strange way to win UO?

Looted this tonight off a Controller in Illish. I played for about an hour and only looted 1. It's green in color.

So are we sure that nothing else drops them and, if not, why did you all go for controllers?
At least as far as it was explained on GL, only the controllers drop them, and to our knowledge, yes, that's all they drop. It's estimated that it's a 1:30 drop rate (very approximately).
that's mean:
- next event requires to be knight in compassion?
- a war againist controller and exodus?
- blackthorn return as a robot and begin a war?
- who drink the potion will be vulnerable (or not vulnerable) to certain monster abilities?
- nothing, this potion is useless if you don't mind to have compassion.
