Stealth timer?????

Freelsy.....I was testing this and this is what I got.

1. I hid, took 2 steps, stopped, and remained hidden for 10 secs.

2. After waiting 10 secs, I then took another step and instantly revealed after takiing 1 step (make sure you see the stealth skill check in the message at the bottome).

3. Try to immediately hide.....I wasn't able to. I had to wait roughly 5 secs to re-hide.

Your able to see the stealth skill check message in the bottom after each stealth skill check/8 steps.


Can someone else test this out and give some input??????

I cant say I have ever had an issue constantly walking in stealth. Even in animal form. I have used it a lot when spawning in deciet etc. Where its very tight space and nasty spawn.

I dont have stealth on, but I have never been revealed when stealthing. Perhaps I can test after ball tonight, incase something changed. But I havent used stealth in atleast 6-8 months. And If I failed to hide (generally due to re-use after reveal from monster or delayed damage spell), id just invis and walk on.

Are U testing this on siege or test or prodo...for timer, just curious what the test is....fill me in...ill give it a try and help also

Ok, here's what I just did.


I hid, outside a house and waited for the 10 second timer to wear off. I walked, saw the *you begin to stealth* message and revealed myself by talking. I was able to instantly re-hide. After hiding I started walking and immediately started stealthing again. Probably a 4 second delay between the last stealth check.


from my conclusion there is no timer between stealth/timer checks.

Also, just for FYI purposes. I have never revealed from a failed stealth check at 75 stealth/100 hiding. Never...

In meddable/leather armor of course.

Does anyone wear anything else then medable?

I think it has to do as much with the armor being mage armor, then it does the piece. I have only ever ran 75 up to 75.2 (if I put it on and forgot to lock it). And I have never failed in any of the arties, RBC, Fey Legs, HOTL, Sami Helm.

Mage armor qualifies an Meddable therefore is not subject to Negative impact on stealth.
