I am always sad to see any of us depart Sosaria. Especially so when it is someone who played as long as you, and who clearly cared for UO and its Players.

You went out "your way," and you had and earned that right. I created a character on LA and went thru gate from Luna to attend your House Drop.

You didn't know my character or my Player. Yet you went out of your way not only to meet my request for a sculpted Character Statue of Garth Grey, but to do it amidst chaos and with kindness and admirable patience.

Though UO is diminished by your departure, it has been greatly enriched and enhanced by your presence and will remain blessed by your legacy and example to the rest of us.

I Salute Thee, I Thank Thee, I Admire Thee, and I Shall Mourn Thee.

By your permission, your Character Statue will become part of the Character Statue Museum on the Baja Shard, my Home Shard.

I hope you, your friends, and admirers will one day visit there.

I ended up with a book of horned BODs and another of spined BODs - I was up to 2:30 sorting them all. Ironically, I was doing the party on my Tailor.

It was the second set of BODs from a departing player in the last month - and the Horned BODs were most welcome, as I missed out on the other player's Horned BODs, and needed a bunch to complete larges.

Have fun in your future pursuits, and don't be a stranger. After all, there's already of people posting here that don't play anymore...

Anyone else find this interesting? Not like Im sayin anything unless you get what Im saying then I might be saying something but I just dunno. Odd timing perhaps. Ill slither back under my rock now.

lol you think 700k iron ingots is alot. Where have you being playing? At this moment I am holding give me a sec let me check dam am losing count. Well a round number I guess would be at least 60,000,000 iron and more with the rest of the colors from my personal stash. Of course this is from mining,reselling. This doesn't include the ingots I've sold these past decade and the miners guild stash.

At current price that's just 45-55 million in iron at the fastest sell price on my shard. Peanuts.

I"m going to drop my Trammel Keep tonight, loaded with everything I own. I wasn't one of the UO Rich, by any means, but I've got a lot of resources, a handful of ethys, a lot of resources, other vet rewards, a lot of resources...did I mention a lot of resources? Anyway, this will take place on the LA shard, MODs please don't move this post. LAs boards are dead not to mention I don't want just scripters at this Keep when I drop it. It's open to all shards if someone wants to come and see what they can grab.

Nothing is deeded, so 700k iron ingots will be hitting the ground, along with over 1 million boards of all types...please see a past post of mine on the LA boards, as most of the resources listed are still here.

Does anyone know if any vet rewards will be lost if I don't redeed them ? IE: banners, skeletons etc...I would rather they be lootable than lost.

Im looking to do this around 8pm central time. And what I will do is, if there's a big enough crowd at Luna Bank, I'll pop a gate to my keep, and as quick as I can access the house sign, everything will drop. If there's only a handful of the usual suspects just hanging around, I'll come up with another method. So if you're bored on your home shard, make a newb and come to Luna Bank LA. I must warn you though, you'll have quite the item count to contend with.

I'm thinking of releasing all of the secure containers and then busting them prior to dropping it, that way pack horses can't be the over all winners...would that make it more fun, or a pain?

Not yay for me thats nothing compared to other memebrs of the alliance. 60 million mine =30mil ore at maybe 8-10k iron ore per hour factoring in fel or trammel=3k hours=125 days per 1 miner. legit or non legit doesn't matter still take both same amount of time to mine. As I gain most from reselling so it takes me maybe 1 week with a total of 20 minutes in that time to search out mutilple venders and friends to buy out 60mil iron at low prices.

1 miner takes 125 days,2miners take 62.5 days, 4miners 31.25 days, so I need only 17 miners mining shardwide to be able to sell me 60million iron a week. Any more miners who are selling that week means I can get more. This is optimal conditions. Personaly I only need to mine for anything extra i might want.
I've being playing it slow I've had over a decade of Uo experience and hoarding.

The true spirit of needing other people in UO. need people to buy from who do the work and need people to sell to who needs the work done.
