New Thunt Items

Can the thunters post pics of the new items found in the chests for us all to see? Also include level of tmap the item was obtained. Thanks

I have done about 4-5 thunts in the last couple days, both lvl 6 and 4's. nothing spectacular has come out of them, unless I do not know what to look for...

I have gotten some Essence of crap from each of them. and some of those small artifacts like the purple female chest thingy and the harp.

best thing I got today in my opinion was a 15 minute power scroll for animal taming.

Also, the only thing I have gotten from the gaurdians, is the ability to kill them all before I am even allowed to unlock the chest.

Well we did some hunts today, 1 lvl 6. It still helps to have uoam working (even though it is out of date and won't update). We got a skeleton key from it, a blue scroll of alclarity, a tasty treat and essence.

The skeleton key has 10 uses, but I have no idea what to use it on or what it does yet.

The tasty treat is for your pets and gives +5 to pets stats for 20 min. looks like a slice of bacon. The tasty treat came from experetly drawn map along with the scroll of alclarity.

We did not get anything from the guardians but gold. The lvl 6 map, we got 49K (including gold from guardians). The other lvl 3 about 10K.

yah, that is all the same stuff I got....

However, I did get some dust things, but they disappear in like 3 min, no matter if in my backpack, in the chest, or in the bank.

If anyone knows how to keep it, I'd be interested.

I read on UHall that its a result of a failed lockpicking attempt. Something in the chest turned to dust as a result. It is supposed to decay as you stated it does.

Have not heard any way of keeping it. Sorry.

That makes sense, because it was on Failed attemp.

I also saw some creature stealing from the chest. A Grubber or something.

Killed him and he had some items from the chest on him.

Did another lvl 6 last night on a very small island. Did not get much of anything except a lot of grey robes. I still have not seen any new items off of the gaurdians. I have a few more lvl 6 maps to go.

Last night, I did 2 level 6s - had to call for help on one, because the initial spawn was 3 AW, a balron, a blood elemental, a poison elemental and a titan (yes, people have gotten as many as EIGHT guardians).

One of the chests had 3 6-property items and a level 6 map. Still not found anything on the guardians, but one of the chest I'd helped on in the afternoon had a surge shield, and the other chest that night had a skeleton key.

The Skeleton key is used on treasure chests, to pick (greater chance of success, with 10 uses).

Level 6 T-chests are fun fun fun!!
Oh yes, there is a few deaths but what fun is it if you don't die a few times lol...
I have been on a few lev 6's and on one of the hunts we did get a sash, don't remember the name on it though...
Sign me up for some more hunts and I will be there !!!
BTW, since I am on dialup and so slow there is no way I can open the browser and run UO at same time, well I can, but then I can't move in UO...So does anyone know or can point me in the right direction to find some of the locations for t-maps...So far, the places we have done lev 6's I have marked runes...

OMG! I am getting excited. I will have to dust off my tmap hunter and get his abilities back to where they were until he decided to get to 115 provo (.7 away) for me while I have been churning to 120 magery (at 112.x now?).

I have bought enough SOTs on Provo to get to 120 from 115 in a matter of 1 minute.

Keira, If you need advise on how to gain it, I know of a great method that worked for me....

Also, you will do better with Discorde. I just do not think the thunter template can handle it.

I know for my thunts I have done, I dug up the chest, recalled home, and logged on my discorder to get rid of the gaudians, and then came back with my thunter.

failing on 2-3 Ancient wyrms is pretty much instant death for me.

At least with discorde, they die faster!

Thanks Smurcoch. This is my last Bard skill I need to get to 120. Then I will be a Legendary True Bard. I don't need the technique as my 5 points in provo SOTs will get me there.

Your t-hunter style is very similar to mine. My t-hunter picks and hides (or runs), recalls out and sends me in to kill everything. I am glad to hear someone else does it like me as I thought that was the best way for me to kill the spawn and get the treasure.

My thunter is:

120 provo
120 music
120 peace
120 mage
100 cart
100 lock
40 focus

I call in my discorder to finish the Wyrms.

He discordes, and then peace ev's.

It's crazy how much one skill makes such a difference.
