(Player Event) Blighted Grove Expedition (THURS. 8-12-10 8PM-10PM EST)

BLIGHTED GROVE EXPEDITION

GUIDE: Lady CaT from Kijustsu Anei City is organizing the expedition.
WHO: Open invitation. Anyone interested in some group adventuring and having fun is welcome.
DATE: Thursday August 12, 2010
TIME: 8-10PM EST
CHAT: In game chat will be set up under 'Blighted Grove'.
WHERE: Group will leave from the Iron Bandit Inn located in Kijustsu Anei City on the Tokunos Island of Homare at 8 PM EST and spend the next 2 hours exploring the Blighted Grove.

How does the in game chat mentioned work? A ventrillo setup? My thursday night was spoken for but I'll likely join a future event.

Simple to use. Select Chat from options bar at top of screen. There will be 3 buttons 'Join' , 'Leave', 'Create'. Select 'Create' and a dialog will open. Type in a name for your new chat group (ie.. Blighted Grove) and then hit enter. It will say 'You have joined the Blighted Grove Channel'. Now anyone in your group can join that public channel you have created. You use ',' and a space followed by text to talk in the chat group. Keep in mind its not a private channel and that anyone can join the channel. But you can seperate a small group to its own chat channel, and not spam the general populations screens with text they could careless about. Hope this helps.

It does.

My chat experience in the game has been pretty much the Party system chat & Roger Wilco in years past. Thought I'd ask so I can be sure how it works before I join a group using it in the future.
