havent yet worked the template but i was wondering if anyone had done the math on a ninja warriors death strikes and how hard they hit at different levels. i know stealth ninja and tracking all factor in and i am taking ninjitsu to 120. was wondering and the stealth part and tracking. i guess one of the things i was thinking was i know you have to track your target but do i actully need points in the skill or could i pull of a joat tracking and get the same effect? stealth will be a min of 80 just wondering if it was worth it to put it up to 120. thanks tyr

I'd tell you my results from testing the damage with different combinations, but I'm sure Dubar would just come and post that I'm wrong.

after seeing the 'confirmed' formula posted i made an excel spreadsheet that takes all the different skill levels and shows you the ds damage.

but i haven't done the in game testing to confirm the spreadsheet matches the actual damage done.

did some messing around on test center seemed like the highest death strike i could get was 40 points with 105 stealth and 100 hiding and 120 ninja. on uo website i believe it says that it is the avg of a ninjas hiding and stealth which would be 52. i only got this number after tracking my target to which neither uoguide nor uo say anything about so could someone give me the real skills and process needed perform a maxxium dmg death strike.TYR

My testing results showed the following:

The average of hiding and stealth is the percentage of damage that your death strike will do. The base damage of the death strike is determined by your ninjitsu. So 100 hide and 80 stealth is 90% of the death strike damage.

WIth 120 ninja and an average of 100 between hide/stealth your DS damage is 40 at max.

From there you can increase it by actively having someone tracked. Based on my test results, the actual level of your tracking skill made no difference besides it being easier to track someone with higher tracking. It would add 10 points of damage. So if with 120/100/100 (ninja/hide/stealth) and tracked its 50 dmg.

If you do two death strikes before the damage ticks, add another 10. So with 120/100/100 (ninja/hide/stealth), tracked, and two deathstrikes you're at 60.

Evil Omen can also factor in. It gives you a 25% damage increase on the damage. So with 120/100/100 (ninja/hide/stealth), tracked, two deathstrikes, with an omen hitting BEFORE their 5th step it is 75 damage.

just to be clear for your second senerio with the two death strikes before the dmg ticks is that two hits for 60 or just one hit for 60 ? ty TYR
