Thank you! That'll certainly cut down on griefing. When a creature is tamed, it will no longer block the respawn of another creature of the same type
I'm hoping that this will allow us to dismount and speak via the same macro If so, this change will make my transition to the EC much smoother.Added a "Dismount" macro action under the "Items/Abilities" category of the Actions window.
I assume you only mean unexciting because for a while we wont have a cheat-sheet that tells us exactly where to digTmap changes very unexciting. Does this mean I have to have mining on my t-hunter now?
Finnegan's fixed!
Champagne bottles fixed!
Goodies and goodies and goodies for treasure maps!
could it be they've been watching..? listening, even....??
and hopefully the old seer bottles that were broken can be repaired also
one small thing ~ I think this should read "now" instead of "not"?
● The Evidence quest given by Sarakki can not be completed and you should be able to receive your reward
A lot of interesting changes and additions. It is nice that treasure maps look like they will be worth doing once again. The random location addition also makes it a lot more challenging than matching picture A to picture B on a website.
and maps for all facets... can you imagine level six map popping all paragons in Ilshenar?I assume you only mean unexciting because for a while we wont have a cheat-sheet that tells us exactly where to dig
I have no problem with it. I actually think this makes it more fun having to search for once in a long time.
Ok, that is what we can call a worst case scenario, lol. But does this mean we can map Ilshenar now??and maps for all facets... can you imagine level six map popping all paragons in Ilshenar?
How on earth can you decide they're unexciting before you've tried them to see what they actually mean?
Give it time through testing and see what starts coming out of them before automatically determining they are really that bad. Who knows what changes it will undergo before it hits live, maybe they'll add more items. Looking at the brief list it already looks a worth-while for a lot of players. How on earth can you decide they're unexciting before you've tried them to see what they actually mean?
Not saying they are bad dear. Just don't see many positives in the list.
I think you mean can NOW be completed. The Evidence quest given by Sarakki can not be completed and you should be able to receive your reward
.We have put HUNTING back into Treasure maps! Treasure Map locations are now have randomized locations
While I don't think this is a good idea, it's nowhere near a bad enough idea, I don't think, that I can see wasting any time objecting to it beyond writing these lines.Forged Pardon: Reduces the users murder counts by 1. (Single Use)
What about the 3 new artifacts? I could see 2 of them being useful in PVP. And if they are useful in PVP then there will be high demand as long as they are rare enough. As opposed to matching picture A to picture B on a world map.... on a website? What makes them woth doing again? Non PoFable items? Get out of jail free cards for murdering folks that grief you by reporting you as a murderer? Decoration vines? Recipes for what? Destroying items for failing lockpicking but not for using telekenisis to set off a trap?... then offset that negative with skeleton keys? Tasty treats? Or removing the regs and scrolls? Really what is it about these changes that make it more worth it? I mean ya it is different... but how is it better?
No. Mining only increases the radius of discovery when you try to dig with a pickaxe. If you don't have it you'll have to be right on the spot...but I've been running my t-hunter like that forever.Tmap changes very unexciting. Does this mean I have to have mining on my t-hunter now?
I kinda agree with this. While i do agree that going to a website and matching the location to a rune in a book was a bit cheeseball the only real reason people did this was because the actual in game maps are so lousy when it comes to really pinpointing a location. On another note as is it's pretty hard to make an effective solo thunter without using soulstone techniques i've got mine setup so i don't need to use soulstones but with this randomization its basically going to require you ditch carto every time you go out and swap it with mining. This i find a little bit annoying but since the soulstone changes i guess it won't be too terribly bad. If anything maybe improve on the quality of the in-game maps so that you could diferentiate the location a little bit better by just looking at the map cause as it stands now with the current maps its kinda a crapshoot without knowing the locations mainly due to the poor quality of the in-game maps especially if we throw other facets into the mix which previously had no maps you could actually view. This is a really good patch.
The only thing that seems a bit worrying is the randomized locations, not sure how that works, but if its truly randomized, then out goes all rune libraries for treasure hunting. As does any chance of casual treasure hunting.
It has the potential to be as bad as randomized resource spots.
Thank you to whomever saw and fixed the issue with the champagne and eggnog bottles. I will check my seer wine when the publish goes live. Please let me know if after this publish goes live anything else that is broken and I will get them on the bug list.

Recipes means for making the Mondain's Legacy items. An alternative to the scripter-friendly methods of getting them now.As opposed to matching picture A to picture B on a world map.... on a website? Stuff we haven't seen before, including but not limited toWhat makes them [T-Maps] woth doing again?
which would've meant more in the days before Imbuing, but surely still means something, if only because of the chance for good items that won't eventually wear down and break.Added a small chance for high property count items
Yeah man but this only works because you know the locations exact spot. Without knowing it your gonna be in for a world of annoying hurt if you try to find random locations without mining. Also the mining bonus works for both pickaxes and shovels...No. Mining only increases the radius of discovery when you try to dig with a pickaxe. If you don't have it you'll have to be right on the spot...but I've been running my t-hunter like that forever.
These are the sash and such? What about the 3 new artifacts? I could see 2 of them being useful in PVP. And if they are useful in PVP then there will be high demand as long as they are rare enough.
yes on ilsh and malas two maps i just looked at were for both locations going to go play fer a bit now. as for the map updates your still going to be matching pictures- maybee a bit too much detail in the maps now.&*^%
Just checked on my old t-hunter. Looks like I moved off GM lockpicking sometime long ago and need to train it again.
Ok, that is what we can call a worst case scenario, lol. But does this mean we can map Ilshenar now??
Or we could all recommend that they also change the skill such that Mining isn't required anymore at all.I best brush off my azimuth then...

I've got almost 400 level 6 maps stored up myself. Looks like we have many hours of grueling over barely decipherable maps ahead of us....●
Glad I've got almost 200 LVL 6 maps in storage.
And non-PoF-able....which they are. What about the 3 new artifacts? I could see 2 of them being useful in PVP. And if they are useful in PVP then there will be high demand as long as they are rare enough.
Well no I didnt exactly mean tha RNG thunting was the entire reason why the changes seems uninteresting. I really don't see much that is interesting. The mining question was seperate in relation to the 5 tile radious bonus it gives to finding the chest. I already dual-client my t-hunter and sideline him when i pop the chest. So adding mining wont be too difficult.I assume you only mean unexciting because for a while we wont have a cheat-sheet that tells us exactly where to dig

I see plenty of useful things in there....Well no I didnt exactly mean tha RNG thunting was the entire reason why the changes seems uninteresting. I really don't see much that is interesting. The mining question was seperate in relation to the 5 tile radious bonus it gives to finding the chest. I already dual-client my t-hunter and sideline him when i pop the chest. But randomizing locations wasn't a very large complaint about t-hunting to begin with. It was the fact that there wasnt much in the chests woth having. So making them harder to find seems to really make t-hunting less enjoyable. And I actually kept the regs and scrolls.... they(scrolls) saved my scribe alot of mana headache on the higher level spells while filling books. But maybe thats what the mana phasing orb thinger does. 20 seconds of regen or 10 sec of damage reduction... meh
Just saying maybe the artifacts are really fab... maybe the imbuing mats are plentiful. Thanks for bumping up the gold. But everything else seems no better or worse than what they were originally
What they should do is allow the radius to increase per every 20 points in carto and then give a bonus on top of that if you decide to run with mining. That way mining could still play into it but wouldn't be a requirement per say. Plus there would be a REASON to leave carto on your character as opposed to just decoding and stoning the skill. As it stands with this patch people will basically have to have carto decode the map stone carto unstone mining and then go out. Rinse and repeat for every map as there is no way to have an effective solo t-hunter with mining, carto, lockpicking, and possibly even remove trap. I know some people do that already but it was nice to not feel like you had to basterdize your character everytime you went to do a t-hunt with this change which pretty much REQUIRES mining not using soulstones pretty much is out of the question now for at least 95% of effective solo T-Hunter builds.Or we could all recommend that they also change the skill such that Mining isn't required anymore at all.
I mean if we're going to be realistic we'll have to start doing stuff like pirates will have to be expert tailors so they can sew their own outlandish clothes and repair sails.

Hear that? It's all the tamer's rejoicing!
Nope. Still doesn't work to dismount and speak. Gotta stick with the CC until this functionality works properly.Looks like B-Teng has been busy, too...
○ Added a "Dismount" macro action under the "Items/Abilities" category of the Actions window.
● Mouse wheel settings were not saving properly when set to "Cursor Target Current" or "Cycle Last Cursor Target".
The first should now allow a macro for dismount - All Kill in the EC.
yes this works my macro isI'm hoping that this will allow us to dismount and speak via the same macro If so, this change will make my transition to the EC much smoother.
This will make getting rare color cu easier heh.Hear that? It's all the tamer's rejoicing! When a creature is tamed, it will no longer block the respawn of another creature of the same type
