ever since the update on july 13th my elf no longer has energy resist of 15, what gives? and also (and i know i wont get it changed back) but my furniture dye tub is now a regular dye tub....something to look into..this happen to anybody else?

update messed my elfs resist

The energy resist for an elf is capped at 75 instead of 70 (and drops to 65 not 60 when cursed), elves do random detecting hidden, elves have 30 extra mana, elves use more mana to perform primary and secondary weapon attacks, elves have inherent night sight (i think) these are the special attributes to an elf.
yadayadayada............. my elf had a 15 energy resist naked and i just made a test elf in tc1 and it has 15 resists spread out, is it random?
and they only have an extra 20 mana

get naked, you'll be at 0's
thats the problem my old elf naked had 15 resist in energy, my new elf naked has 15 resists spread across the board my main elf ive had forever suddenly dosent have any resists

hmm do you have the resisting spells skill?

then your char is/was bugged. naked with no resist spells skill u should have 0 resist across the board. if you want fixed you will have to page a GM to reset,careful how you word your request
they use same as humans and gargs
Resists of my elf on Siege naked. 0. Resists of my new made elf on tc1 0.
Sounds like you have resist if your character is actually naked. That or some spell buff.
Or perhaps your character really is bugged.
A circlet (elf standard head gear, I believe) also has 15 resists: 1/5/2/2/5
Or a samurai helm (default if you chose bushido): 5/2/2/2/4
Any leather armor (don't think you start with leather) has default 15 resists.
And my guess is you had a ring or bracelet with +15 energy resist that you continually forgot to take off in the past or recently replaced.
But without a screenshot of your naked character with paperdoll and resists listed, there's no way we can help you without guess work.
On the other hand, we're idiots, so go figure it out yourself.

Started a new elf char on a prod shard yesterday. The char came with a circlet with total 15 resists, along with elf pants, boots, shirt, candle, etc. I didnt put it on, the char was created wearing the circlet.
my test shard elf is completly naked no circlet nothing, and his resists still add up to 15, theres no need for me to "eat my own words" if u guys go try it it ull be like "oh we r idiots whoops"
well i think im bugged srry bout getting pissy but i cant stand ppl telling me that im wrong when im right, every new elf char i made on test shard all have a total of 15 resist naked no buffs nor resists 0 skills, which i thought was normal untill my siege elf had 0s, so maby i was buged this entire time? ya maby but doubtfull..
i must have im in tc right now on a NEWER elf and i get the same thing every time, good for me
