How about:

A metallic dye tube--something that lets us dye weapons armor, statuettes, furniture and even deeded objects lovely metallic colors--bright golds, rich silvers, elegant pewters....Imagine a gargoyle or reaper statuette dyed bright gold!

A way of dyeing stone or some new stone colors or at least make the gold stone look like gold!

A wood-toned dye tub. The furniture dye tub is great, but a bit artificial. I would like some more natural woodier tones.

Wainscoting and paneling for out house walls even decorative carvings.

I could go one, but this would devolve into my deco wish list.

Well there are house teleporters, and for old style players there were the Felucca moonstones--which were personal moongates to Fel.

This is an awesome idea. It would look really cool to have one on your house, and it would definitely be a nice bonus feature. I don't think it could be considered overpowered because 1st year vets can get Crystal Portals, which will take you to any moongate, so an actual moongate in your house would just save one step - appropriate for a 13th year reward.

Only thing I wonder about is duping. As I understand, they instituted the whole "your spirit lacks cohesion" to combat duping with moongates (I have no idea how it works, just something I heard and I hope stratics doesn't have a problem with my mentioning it).

But yeah, 13th year home moongate would be super sweet.

This. I can't tell you the number of times I've taken patrons out to cool, adventuresome places and had to make sure I was packing along blank runes for the folks who asked for one marked.

There was a long discussion in a previous thread, in which I suggested a craftable rune marker, made by scribes, which would have some disadvantage over scrolls or casting, to keep the mage's advantage.

So it is not abused just have a runebook with the mark option for each rune location. just hit the gem and that runeloaction changes to your new spot. Could require mark scrolls to charge it besides recalls. Could be linked to one other vet runebook and allow the owners to recall to the others location like the braclets of binding.

- Automatic: Increased skillcap for Tinkering, Carpentry and Fletching

- Reward pick: Wishing well deed (aka the gold sink). Giving it gold can produce one of various effects:

- Increase to one of the 3 regens, HCI, DCI, SSI, DI or a random slayer application for x amount of time (time is dependant on how much gold was given). Temporary increase of skills is also possible. Each increase replaces the last.

- Permanent Karma increase

- Small chance for a skill increase to a random skill. The chance is based on *character* age. Can only happen once a day.

- Various other cool stuff could happen

- Reward pick: Spawn brazier similar to one found in deceit.

- Reward pick: Ability for Blacksmiths to use Item ID "revive" old magic weapons like silver vanquishing katanas - this can be done through a simple check to the item's name. If it is "a magic (weapon)" then it is pre-AOS. You can even see this now if you use item ID on what you suspect is an old weapon.
- Reviving a weapon will triple its intensity. So, a Supremely accurate katana of Vanquishing will have 105% DI and 30% HCI.
- At 100 blacksmithy, it is possible to add an additional property (at 110, 2 and at 120, 3) to the item. Your Item ID skill reflects the % of the intensity applied. Example - 120 smithy, 100 Item ID on an old silver vanq kat could give you 30% HCI, 105% DI, 30% SSI, 50% mana leech, 50% hit lightning.

Workbench - placed in a house, increases carpentry, tinkering, basketweaving, alchemy, glassblowing chances for success and exceptional by 10% when you craft within 5 tiles of it. Can "stack" up to 3 in an area. Or, an alternate instead of the "aura" is double click and it gives you the same effect for an hour. Usable by any age, but placeable only by 13 year vets.

Nystul's Guarded Pouch -- a pouch you carry in your backpack that is blessed (yes on seige too) that holds items for you if you die. Weighs 100 stones, can hold up to 1 item per year, of any weight (but still weighs 100 total.) Items inside the pouch ARE stealable, the pouch itself is NOT. Pouch has a trap feature (one random trap can be activated by applying Diamond Dust, which is created by alchemists with 50 diamonds.)

Nytul's Camera -- a box you carry with you. When used, it creates a painting with a picture of whatever you have pointed it at. The paintings can be locked down, and when double-clicked will show the item/creature you selected. Eventually: I'd like it to take a "picture" by doing a screen shot and storing it on the server. It's always bugged me that most of our shard histories are all external to the shards... it'd be nice to have pictures of major events to display in your houses and museums.

As a 13th year Vet Reward I'd really see it fit an item search tool claimable by top 13th year but usable by all which works across the account between all secures/lockdowns used in that account's house as well as the bank boxes of all characters of that account.

Not unbalancing (one can still search the old way, an item at a time...) and yet usefull.

A perfect 13th Year Vet Reward candidate, IMHO !!

I kind of would like to see some resist sandals of some sort, not necessarily Vine Cord Sandals, I wouldn't care if they were only 2% of one resist. However, there's boots with int bonus and boots with 2% poison resist, I don't like boots. =(

They are supposed to announce the details of Publish 67 tomorrow. That should include the t-hunter stuff you're referring to.

As far as a rune marking capability for everybody, I don't think this should be a vet gift. I think this should be a product craftable by scribes. It would be charged so you could fill an entire runebook with it.

I got another great idea:
The lottery ticket seller: once per week (and per account), you can pay 100k for a lottery ticket. If you win, you can get 1 random item from: replicas, artifacts (doom, ilshenar, tokuno, ML, stygian abyss), an old event item, new deco item (maybe something like the two-story statue ).
Obviously the use must be limited to 3+ year old account (for avoid thousand trial/new account made just for this)
