I love you guys but Malwarebytes just blocked 3 attempts by ip 62.45.21.38 when I ran that poll.

I don't know what to do personally. I actually need this site to work, but I cannot afford scumware.

Here are the obligatory comments condensed from the next 50 responses.

1. PM George. Don't discuss stuff like this in public. It panics the masses and surely there is nothing wrong with Stratics regardless who owns it and how many recent incidents have occurre. rolleyes:

2. Your protection software is out of date, too sensitive, utter crap, or lacking in some manner. rolleyes:

3. You are an internet noob and have no idea what you are talking about. Well, you may not actually get that comment but some will surely try to make you feel that way.

:ten:

I play on Linux as well as browse. What distribution do you use if I may ask.

I'm currently using Linux Mint 9 it's Gnome but thinking of installing the KDE version when it has it's final release as well.

I'm not seeing anything strange on that thread and my virus checker isn't alerting me. Nor is 'no script' telling me it's blocking anything. The ip resolves to an address in the Netherlands.
Norton safeweb is happily giving us a green tick.
Is anyone else getting any alerts?

If Malwarebytes blocked it, it would be unlikely you got infected with anything at all....

But as said before - start by telling the Stratics folks so they can look into what may be happening.

Edit

http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=49665&hl=62\.

It's Malwarebytes blocking a whole range of IPs because several of the range have carried problematic software - more than likely nothing on the specific IP you got flagged up, but the range in it's entirity is being stopped by Malwarebytes.

Sorry didn't know George. I'll do that next time.

It was one of those instant things haven't had a hit in days on Malware, ran it. Bam Bam Bam 3 hits with the time, then it hasn't happened again since I left.

You're the man. I would have never known what happened.
