Just a question I have since I'm thinking about making my next (and final) character. what is the general consensus around here about a throwing sampire? I was thinking about making a sampire next and want anther gargoyle and though of throwing. Anyone ever done this or have a list of pro's and cons of some template along this line?

I finished my Wammy about a week ago. I think the mana leech is more important for Range than the Life Leech.
-Throwers always miss on the first throw. Use this to your advantage to Honor the Mob.
-Sampires will be able to fly at mounted speed. This is the only advantage they would have over a Wammy.
-Wammy has less armor penalities for its form than a Sampire.
-Sampires get a slight bonus to mana regen, & huge bonus to stamina. Plus poison immunity to level 4 poison & below.
-Sampires are hurt by Cure pots
My Wammy Template
120 Throw
120 Bushido
100 Tac
100 Ana
100 SS
100 Healing
80 Chiv
30 Necro (from Jewelry Set)

there are quite a few posts if you look back.
They seem to be capable of massive damage when setup correctly, just ask Lord GOD (GOD).
Have a search and you'll find plenty of info - seems like an ok plate to me
I like my thrower. He's a knock-off of the template proposed by Lord GOD. For all throwers, SSI is critical. You will need to obtain a Breastplate of the Berserker, one 5 SSI item (turquoise ring or Ranger/Warden's Cloak of Augmentation), and 30 SSI on your Soul Glaive if you want to throw it at 1.5s. Without 45 SSI and 180 stamina, the best you can do is 1.75s. That said, even without the breastplate, you can do some very nice damage with a Wammy Thrower using constant AIs (provided the monster has the mana pool to support). There is another thread in this forum on a more traditional Throwing sampire. Ah, here it is. Take a look: http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=187050. With 40 LMC and max HML on your Soul Glaive you could probably do some continuous AIs, but not as long as the above Wammy.
