so i'm finally getting closer than ever to finishing off my sampire. goal is to make a casting sampire who can debuff their own damage type. at the same time i'll be modular, i can swap skills as necessary to defeat opponents.
here's what i've got - would appreciate any comments/suggestions for improvement. you guys have been at this longer than i have..

*61 chiv
*i can bump chiv to 71 and lower heal/ss to 90.. i think 61 chiv will be ok tho
the idea here is i can swap anat/resist/heal/ss in or out as needed, though ill probably keep 100 ss at all times so i can cast.

neck: imbued- fire resist, sta increase 8, lmc 8, lrc 20, mana increase 6
chest: imbued- fire resist, sta increase 8, lmc 8, lrc 20, mana increase 6
arms: imbued- fire resist, sta increase 8, lmc 8, lrc 20, mana increase 6

legs: animated legs of the insane tinker
ring: 8 str, 20 lrc, 5 ssi, 15 hci/dci
bracelet: 8 lmc, 15 hci/dci, 20 di, 5 dex
talisman: faction primer of arms
back: ranger aug cloak OR quiver of infinity (hot swappable)
cloak: cloak of death (needed to boost my hci)
waist: faction crimson
main ww weapon:
40/20/40 fire/cold/poison double axe, 30 ssi, 40 di, 50 hit area cold, hml, hsl
ornate:
50/50 fire/poison, 30 ssi, 40 di, hml, hsl and.. either HLA or Hit Lightning
the following are weapons-to-be, when i find the appropriate elemental dmg type weapon. will use exceptional crafted for now..
daisho:
0 SSI (ssi is on suit), DI, hml, hsl, hla, (slayer or hit lightning)
radiant scimmy:
0 ssi (ssi is on suit), DI, hml, hsl, hla, (slayer or hit lightning)
leafblade:
0 ssi (ssi is on suit), UBWS, DI, hml, hsl, hla
suit features:
100 di
33 or 38 DCI depending if i use ranger aug cloak or quiver
43 hci
40 lmc
100 lrc
70s resists
50 ssi
vampire+curse weapon leeches
'immune' from faction changes, ill lose 10 DI from M&S when i have to switch to normal ones and can make up for it on the weapons
+19 str=119
150 dex, 182 sta
25 int+18 mana=43 mana
HOLES:
i would like my dci to be much higher to prevent damage, but given that ill have dual leeching perhaps its not so bad?
i have no MR at all, so if i croak ill have a meditable 'spare suit' with MR1 and LRC on it i can swap to get mana to recast vampire
comments:
i dont have access to runics or a legendary smith on sonoma. so nice stuff like runic red dragon armor will have to come later. obviously one or two high fire resist pieces would give me tons more freedom with my imbues.
questions:
* on a spirit speak sampire with no fc, is it best to run in protection? or unecessary? if i run in prot, i would ditch 6 mana on one imbue for a physical resist imbue.
* is 43 (37 if i run in protection) mana enough with 40 LMC and 1st mana discount?
* is my dci (33 or 38) too low, given that i can dual leech at any time?
* should i go for HLA or Hit Lightning on my ornate? it seems if Ornate is for attacking soft-hitters, then I wouldnt have to worry about HLA and should go Hit Lightning for maximum damage output?
