Un-pickable chest?

I am a GM Picker - I found a chest labeled "from a dark wisp(paragon)" - when I try to pick it open it says "this chest cannot be opened by normal means"

Anybody seen this before?

I've seen that message before. Not sure what would be needed to open it though. Maybe magic?

Odd, those chests should be able to be picked. At least they use to.

thats an old chest from an old event. I do remember them being able to be picked though. Boy are you going to be disappointed once you get that open.

you ca place it on a packie to look in it or if thats not working try a npc vendor you have to determin if you really want to pick it. hehe

You might try locking it down in a house and turning it... then unlock it and try again.

Yeah, it sounds like someone else already opened it, then relocked it with the spell.
