If you have 120 music and 120 disco it only does 10 points damage now instead of 20 per tick.
From what I saw, when it went live to the shards damage was dropped to 20 per tick from an even higher rate.
If they can still do that much with 3 skills, it makes it to where you cant really use the temp in PvP like you could when it first came out since music and disco was all you needed.
It was a silly thing anyway people using 240 skill points to use a single spell.
When Logrus jumped into public chat at last HoC he told me they would make a change so that bards can cast spells while maintaining bardic abilities, so I'm wondering if that will happen and if so if despair will end up working with spell plague, haha.
You are so freaking late its not even funny. Go back and read your previous QQing thread. At least a dozen of players have told you it only does 10 dmg per tick on live shard not your trash noob TC.
It has NEVER dealt more than 11dmg on live shard, and its been doing 10dmg tick even before you made your first QQ thread. Listen to others they are all better players than you do, and you might be able to get better. Trash TC pvper wannabes won't help you.

I guess you right, its too much to ask for PvP to be a bit balanced. if it wasn't over powered at first then why would anyone invest 240 skill points for one spell?
And Logrus also said that the changes would happen to TC1 on that next maintenance when it went live on Origin and it didn't. they changed it day before yesterday.
And i am happy to duel you on chessy any day any time any temp (cept a tamer, pvping with pets isn't pvping). if you dont have a char on chessy ill meet you on TC1.
I could use a few "lessons"

Historically all changes hit TC before a live shard, this is the first time that ive seen they didn't change tc before going live with a change. and if you read his posts it made it seem like he did the changes on tc when in fact he didn't.
For someone's pvp level like you "judging by your posts" you are like a free kill to me. I will be on sonoma waiting for you since you are challenging me. Bring any template here here even tamers if you prefer field fight.

Ugh, I hate to do this but I'm going too.
He didn't challenge you to a duel on Sonoma, it was for Chessie and if you did not have a char there than it was for TC1. I could be wrong but normally when I see such comments it is because the person really doesn't want the fight to happen. How can you expect him to pay for a transfer when you can do this on TC1 with no issues... Well, I'm sure you'll have some.
I'm sorry, I'm not a fan of the OP but I'm sick of people replying to such comments with this kind of rubbish. Either accept or decline, no need for the BS. Don't take this as a personal attack, I could very well be wrong on some points. =D
According to what you said then why would he want me to go to cheesy? It's ok for someone else to expect someone to pay for a xfer to his shard but not to mine?
I hate to say this but it's pretty sad someone who has no comebacks but to derail all the stupid ******** things he said and try to cover it up by "come duel me".
Search his post even someone like you should know how to do it. He was the only one that said 10dmg per tick at a mana cost of 48 is too much. 10+ posters told him that 20dmg ticks never made to live shard, yet hes so stuck up and simply refuse to believe it. The change went in for almost a month now and he just realize it and came to uhall and claimed a victory...
Please dont be a dumb**** and comment on **** you dont even know. There are plenty of duel challenges going on that involves with the challenger spending a xfer token to prove what he's got. Again like what I commented on TC, spending time to create a suit on TC is ******** and if he wants to play play on a real shard. If he wants to challenge someone in order to shut them up buy a xfer token and go to his home and beat him.
You do not ask for the challenged person to come to you to "take your challenge" go knock on his door and tell him "I am here come and die" like a real challenger. It's obviously (according to your logic) he doesnt want the fight to happen. But if he does, instead of asking me to go to TC and spend my time there for a suit that WILL BE WIPED bring his best char here and beat me I will even buy him a xfer token back.
If you want to make ******** comments on Uhall feel free, if you need to resort to "duel me" since your comments are completely ******** and makes no sense to 99% of the real pvpers, then man up and go beat him, dont waste my time, and again I am serious about taking his challenge, I will be on Sonoma waiting, any char any race any class any template and pet of his choice. All I am asking for is if hes gonna use a tamer make it a field fight instead of a duel. Thank you and please do not waste my time again.

To OP: You are so incredibly late to realize this, lmao. I believe I even read one of the devs stating that the changes would appear on Origin and/or all other live shards and not TC. But whatever. We all told you numerous times that it was far from godly like you claimed it was even after going live yet you continued.
Of course they never nerfed it after it went live which is what makes this so funny.

Tbh I could never be bothered to build whole PvP suit on TC just cause one guy challenges me to duel... Or then he would need to build me a suit that matches my prodo shard suit.
Its all good. Thanks for sticking up for me but in the end it doesn't really matter cause he has his point of view and i have mine.
I've played on Chessy for over 12 years but the last year or so have been excruciatingly boring so I jump on TC1 for my PvP fix. You can usually get a fight pretty much any time.
I'm also way over doing spawns even for the fight. After you have done 10000000000000 spawns and controlled them on your shard for over 5 years straight it gets old.
So excuse me if I was mistaken on the order of the damage change to Despair. But if he would go back and look at Logru's posts he made it seem that TC1 also had the change the Prod shards were going to get. but they didnt get that change till the other day.
also this was actually the second nerf to Despair because in the beginning it did more damage than 20 points per tick. so again if you look at Logrus's posts he made it seem like the following:
despair did 60+ damage per tick - nerfed to 20+ damage per tick - nerfed to 10+ damage per tick. The 10+ damage per tick did not get changed on TC1 till the other day. yet his post said it would be changed when it went live on Origin.
SOOOO I thought his fix was to have it do 20+ damage per tick..
But as the original post says, its fixed regardless of of how and when so I am happy. And If WarUltima and Viper actually hit TC1 to see how over powered it actually was, they would have been freaking too, and thanking me for saying something. because it actually destroyed PvP on TC1 for about 3 to 4 weeks. Just about every mage stopped playing. that should say something when A: people invest 240 points for ONE spell and B: every mage quits.
Your quote here is almost word for word except you left out a few words;
"until the next maintenance" It doesn't take two weeks for that to happen it happens every 24 hours upon server reboot.
Irrelevant as everyone, except for you it seems, was aware of TC being outdated with Despair changes when compared to live shards where it was fine. I don't really see why this matters though, unless your main shard is TC. This would explain a lot though, why you seem so concerned with how despair works on TC when everyone was telling you it is perfectly fine on live shards a long time ago.
So I guess your next rant here is about how the devs didn't bother themselves with updating TC asap, right?

To everyone on Uhall, I apologize. I have been trying to steer clear of such conversations but sometimes I let annoyance get the better of me. I know it's a fault, but I'm sure most of you can relate to it.

First off, I don't think he expected you to transfer. I believe he meant it as if you already have a char there, if not than TC1. I know a lot of people tell others to come to their shard, I also know that for the most part it's people who need an excuse to avoid said fight. Although I do admit there are exceptions, but still I find them silly.

Ok go read my post again since you really seem to have some reading issue. How is me telling the OP the fact that hes stupid and didnt realize the change until now? thats after countless of posters telling him the samething over and over again RELATE to COME DUEL ME?

Again, I can give the OP the stats of my live shard suit, I wish him to duplicate it on TC1 so I dont have to do it, since he's the one who challenged me. And if he does I will go to TC and duel him Otherwise the OP should come to Sonoma (in the case that he wasnt trying to avoid a fight) since he's the challenger.

Everytime I go on TC I go there to TEST changes. I just take all the arties in the bank box and put them on so I get 100 lrc... dont know why people would play main TC... must came from sucky PvP servers.
You sure seem to have a lot of excuses as to why not to come to TC1 and be a "free kill to you".
You also dont seem to read posts thoroughly because I told you already that pvp on Chessy is relatively dead and for a quick fix I get on TC1.
You also didn't read how Logrus himself said it would be changed on TC1 upon the next maintenance, when in reality it didn't happen until day before yesterday.
So it was only fair that I had some confusion on the damage it dealt, considering they tweaked it 3 times.
And of all the people who said it was dropped to 10 points per tick not one of them tried it on TC1. And again it was the way Logrus worded it that made it confusing. Also I am more prone to belive him than someone esle considering my first complaints about Despair were from even before it hit a Prodo shard.
And YES just about in every case all changes hit TC before a Prodo shard.
But I am happy to end this thread right now... You Win, I lose... Feel better?
You remind me of the dexer kiddies when fighting mages they bleed them, disarm them, nervestrike them and deathstrike them... but when the mage casts para or mana vamp they complain.

This makes me giggle, as I stated in my first post, I am not a fan of the OP. I do not care what happened in previous threads. My reply had nothing to do with the validity of the OP's claims. I agree that he was wrong, and more so I feel his original duel challenge was silly, I just took issue with your manner of "accepting" it. Read further into my comments than needed if you want but know your response is totally off-base and nonsensical. I won't though argue this anymore, I am the furthest thing from a troll and keeping this up is just arguing semantics.
Btw, you can throw around names like "********" and "dumb****" all you want, it really doesn't help your argument and doesn't speak well to your character.

Because of one thread? Yeah, I think it's more like folks are to quick to spout that title off. Besides, anyone with a opinion that strays from the normal of this board is routinely labeled one. This is but one of the many issues I've noticed thus far.
