Locking or increasing the limit of message boards

When a message board gets to 50 posts, the old ones disappear (or get deleted). It would be nice to have this limit increased or be able to "lock" an old one for display purposes only.

Got a couple of boards I want out but can't, or someone will post on them and remove posts from years back. Not that big a deal, I guess, but must be some other people in the same position!

They could add an "archives" feature to it. I've seen many MBs at the places that strive for player activities that I'd think they would want to keep. Would also be cool to be able to see messages from years past, and long lost friends or characters of fame in your player communities.

On GL there's a special library for events of the past in Magincia. It was saved through the invasion and destruction. There's books in there that are locked, that have old comments. It's neat to see the comments from characters you never see anymore, and reminders from the past. Come to think of it, I haven't been to Magincia, maybe it's all gone now. I'd be very disappointed if it were gone.

Well, all the books that were there are gone. History lost. Unless someone saved it, I don't know.
